Birdie's Return To Life

All is good here in the Hammer except for the cold. When I was at my brothers last night my car's external thermometer said it was -1F. Yikes. Too cold to stand outside and watch the lunar eclipse so I left my coat on and snuck out every 5 minutes or so.

Anyone else see it?

FP.:peace:
It was -8F here last night. I saw the moon but not the eclipse. It was huge early in the evening.

I have a banana extract update. I added one more banana yesterday for a total of 3, and filled the jar up to almost a quart. I will admit that I have been helping the breaking up process a bit, because I didnt want to deal with the mess of grinding up the banana first, and I just cut it into little pieces. So to help the breaking up part of it, I have handed the bottle to the boys several times so far and challenged them to each shake it vigorously for 60 seconds. You know how boys can get. It's been shaken.
It is still breaking down remarkably fast, and I expect yesterdays peel to be almost eaten by day after tomorrow. The jar is very heavy now... this is going to be some potent stuff. The sediment is still separating into two distinct layers, the heavier white layer on the bottom being maybe 1/10 the height of the next layer. My theory is that the thin bottom white layer is the potassium starting to settle out, and the next layer is still mostly sludge.
Here are tonight's pictures... first the layers... and then after the boys had their fun.

Super good news :)
I would assume that the ready product would need to be diluted like you would any other nutrient when time comes.
The plain banana water fermentation, I used 3 fl. Oz (1 dl) to 33 fl. Oz. (1l) of water.
Do you burp the bottle at all?

Not a lot of pressure is building up yet, but there is some... look at all the bubbles that are freed after shaking it... once the colonies increase I expect the fermentation to really start in earnest.

It does look promising :)
I had a tap root on my OG KUSH, so she went in a pot as well. :)
At the moment they are under a cfl 24 hrs light.
As soon as tent comes they will go under the Led.
It is going to be awesome to grow under a Led light for the first time :)
I'm still moved with what you wrote to santero, tears are still rolling down :hugs:

I'm guessing it would be quite acidic, like Bokashi, if used straight; and I have a hunch, like Bokashi, it will also be teaming with great micro-organisms! :thumb:

@Mr. Krip Emilya posted a list earlier but as the alcohol part goes away (at least in plain water blend) I didn't see (of course not tested) acid. I smelled and tasted then.

I was tearing up a bit walking off of the plane thinking about what I was going to say... I got some strange looks. I had just been able to read his message before having to disembark, and I thought of you.
