Seems to be of pretty good quality! Definitely super bright so it'll light up my 36x18x60 well! I'll get it hung and see how it covers the tent! Still waiting on more stuff so I can finish setting up the veg tent, mainly an exhaust fan so final set up will be by the end of the week!

Hope everyone has a great day! Cheers folks! :blunt:

Looks like a really nice light. What's the wattage of it?

One recommendation if you don't already have them is to get yourself a pair of LED glasses. I learned the hard way and sun burnt my cornea. All I can say is OUCH! I got a good pair that will even fit over the top of regular eye glasses (Amazon of course).

Yea grab at least 1 more if not have 2 for each plant during flower. You should be able to grow good under 1 panel per plant, just more light is better for sure.

Damn that is really a cheap price. They might also be good to fill in some dark areas of a tent.

It's the v450, draws about 200 watts with both switches on! To cover that veg tent would have been 2 200 watt cfls and I just don't like those things so I bit the bullet and went with this. Half the watts, twice the coverage and a lot longer life, it'll be good for me I'm sure!

Yea I got some cheap ones but they don't do it when it comes to those industrial lights I have, I am blind after working in there even with glasses. Family is pitching in for some method 7s for me so I don't go blind while growing medicine for everyone XD

Should be grabbing those shortly as well!

Super cheap, really good for hanging vertically along the sides of your tent wall if you want really awesome coverage alongside your main lights .

Np man, I suggest starting a journal if you have the times and means, can be pretty helpful!

Don't hesitate to drop in here with a couple of pics if you need help down the line, that's what we're here for!

Cheers bud! .

I'll vote for that - BigBud - Give creating a journal a try. You will meet the BEST folks at :420:

It is really helpful to record what your doing and is will be a great resource for your next grow as well as lots of folks here. I was a little intimidated at first but have really gotten some great support.

You will not find there here at :420:

The staff here from the start set guidelines on attacks or rudeness. I've yet to see a snarky response.

Their are some great people here like BS who have gone out of his way to make me feel at home and answer any question regardless of how stupid it was. My hardest problem was some of the acronyms e.g. FIMing, Scroggs, LST. A google search or just asking helped resolve quickly.

I'm learning all kinds of new drying and curing techniques over at SweetSue's - DrZiggy's Low and Slow Drying - It is more of a work in progress but lots of good information.

Yea I'm with Troy, no such thing as stupid questions here. I'm pretty green myself, new to the whole thing so don't hesitate to ask cause if I don't know I'll certainly find the answer and we can learn together, that's what this place is all about!

Thanks for jumping in here Rider!

Id say I'm far from having a clue lol but definitely have done a bit of reading. Truthfully I did a bunch of research on this years ago and never really did anything with it unfortunately. This year I put a couple auto's out on the deck for a low light-no nutrient-seat of the pants grow and they turned out a little bit of smokeable pineapple express for me. You know how it is, the fungus gnats must've given me a bug cause I'm hooked again! Finally bit the bullet on some decent equipment and here we are!

Thanks for joining in, Im happy to have ya :high-five:

Haha that's how it's been for me, always been a put em outside and hope for the best kind of guy but with it going legal here i'm terrified of what will happen outdoors next year with everyone trying and not knowing whats going on. Anyhow I subbed up look forward to seeing the end results.

I got a pair of mars hydro ones and they work great ... even over top of my glasses

Yea the outdoor scene will be a bit rough for those close to the city :( apparently pollen can travel a km to pollinate a female:S intakes and exhausts will need carbon filters in areas with dense population :(

And yea with the legalization coming it's time to get in gear for sure, get your stockpile ready cause there will be a shortage when they roll out these laws I'm sure!

Well good to have you here! Hi from the west coast! :blunt: take this!

So far I like my Vipar 600. I would say the only thing I don't like as much as the my King PLus is the spread. It's got a narrower angle for sure. Built really well though for the price. You should be happy with yours though.
Definitely narrower, is the king a cob unit? I would be happy with this light in a 3x2 for full cycle, could probably veg a 3.5x 2.5 though! It's a pretty sleek little unit I'm pretty excited to try it out!
Dang I appreciate all the advice and help really helps me
Of course man! :welcome: to 420 mag!
