Hey Apex! Good to have you along! I really dig your set up and I'm stoked to see what your gunna do with it!Very nice! Think I'm gonna have a seat and take a bong rip and enjoy the show!! I'm on about the same timeline as you with white widow from nirvana seeds.
I'm not sure on your brand of nutrients, but I'm thinking that if you hit those young plants with 800 ppm you're liable to cook them in a day or two. At that stage of growth I run about 200 ppm. In full blown flowering I run at about 700 ppm.
Commercial grower are the key words in that sentence. If pushed to the limits those ppms may be appropriate but for a first time amateur grow (not saying your efforts are amateur, I'm very impressed at your grow) you may find doing alot less will be better to handle then over doing it. The plants will tell you anyway. I'm with Scrogdawg all the way.Hey Apex! Good to have you along! I really dig your set up and I'm stoked to see what your gunna do with it!
I'm running GH base with a few additives, the chart I'm working off of was given to me by a commercial grower for the line up I'm using. At first I thought the numbers were crazy too, I started slow. Gave them 550 ppm a couple days ago and they love it, coupled with the intense light they just took off as they did with the 350 ppm feeding a week before that!
I'm planning on almost plain water next watering then 800 ppm in about a week and I expect some good gains between now and then. I'm going to keep watching them for sure, but if they continue to react the way they are I'm pretty confident they'll be ready at time!
Cool good feedback! I'll make sure I watch them closely and adjust what I'm giving them accordingly!Commercial grower are the key words in that sentence. Alright thanks for all the advice y'all! I've been feeding beneficial bacteria since day one so I'm hoping there's good stuff going on down there! If jewels root that poked out is any indication of overall health I'm happy! Especially since the roots already 3x as tall as the plant XDThey look awesome Big, I definitely agree on holding off for the high PPM - at this stage of their life, you should be focused entirely on whats below the surface. I suggest getting some great white & holding back on the fertilizer for a good while. This will result in much less augmentation being necessary to achieve proper NPK ratio going into flowering. Promix is an amazing soil. Be careful, less is often more.
