BigBearNTX Perpetual Auto Grow

I don’t think they got a Williams Wonder, a Northern Lights #2, and a Mexican ruderalis to recreate Lowryder. But, you know, maybe they did. Lol

Very true. Burpee has a patent on their seeds. I can’t make seeds of “Early Girl” and then sell it under my own brand as “BigBearNTexas’s Early Girl”. I would get sued.

Now, I don’t want it to go the Monsanto route where you aren’t allowed to save genetic material for future grows by making seeds. But I do think the original breeders should be able to reap the benefit of their work.

I had a long post written up (really.....a lot), but I deleted it.

I agree and that is good enough.

I want the true breeders to continue, and I don't want to post something that could do harm.

Growth is insane on the Amnesia. I chopped a few fan leaves from the middle, but it needs to be tied down and spread out to maximize all the grow tips. I’ll work on that tomorrow. I still need to pick up some pipe cleaners, the wire I use for pins is useless for what I need to do now.

I was just thinking about how to manage my summer grows. I go on vacation every year at the end of July into the first part of August for two weeks. I’ll need to arrange my grows so that I don’t have anything that will be finishing at that point.

Fast Buds Pineapple Express Auto came down today. Right at eleven weeks or 78 days. That’s fast enough for me. :)

191g fresh with stems. I’m hoping for 28g of trimmed and dried bud.

Even indoor hempy grows get dirty. A pic of the first two wash buckets. Third rinse was in the sink.

Rigged up a dry line in the pool house/storage/pottery studio. Got a fan on them, so hopefully they will be ready for the next steps soon.

What method are you using for drying and curing?

Just asking, I'm the curious sort....

Uh....dunno. Probably low and slow in the fridge? I haven’t made it to the point where I had enough bud to cure. The last two harvests went right into production of tincture the same weekend as harvest.

Depending on how much it yields, I would like to do this batch as coconut oil for baking.

Canuk Seeds Amnesia Auto is a beast!

She has grown so much in this past week or two, it’s been really cool. Especially since I had to help her out of her seed at the very beginning. She popped her head out, but her tap root was caught up in the seed casing under the surface. I found out because I accidentally knocked her baby pot over and she spilled out. A little surgery and she pulled through. And man has she pulled through! I thought she was going to be stunted, but she is going to be a monster.

I finally bought some pipe cleaners and got around to tying her down. I removed my pins and am just using the pipe cleaners secured through the holes I drilled in the rim of the bucket last weekend.

I kinda wish she had the tent to herself, but the Northern Lights needs to be up-potted into her final bucket.

I also did one little bit of gentle supercropping.

That is what I'm doing (Low and slow) if any ever gets that far....I'm out...so there will be some wet buds being quick dried....it' sill be harsh, but I'm sure I've smoked worse.:thumb:

They seem to like the rough stuff, as long as they don't bleed too much. I know my Ms. Small Seed has taken off with LST. Haven't done any supercropping yet. I may do that next round. I'll have some different seeds then. (unless I rerun some dwarfs real soon before the heat) Will depend on my harvest.

Last photo update, Northern Lights.

Crop King Seeds Northern Lights Auto at 3 weeks. Time to up-pot her into her blue bucket.

Because I think I’m going to need some extra space with the Amnesia, I’m went ahead and topped this one and will use the pipe cleaners to stretch out her new growth tips. I considered going for the more extreme mainline style that I did on the PE and the Amnesia, but am okay with this one going a bit more vertical. I’m also curious to see what growing up closer to the lights will do for resin production.

Before in her baby pot. Also, I’m shocked there haven’t been any comments about the biohazard containers I’m using. Lol

Look at them roots!

Topped and tucked into her new home.

Looking good to me.

I figured you were making a statement with the biohazard pots. As much as a joke as anything...... Also seem like a good pot. Nice and deep.:thumb:

They are sharps containers that we were going to throw out at work because we no longer have the lids for them. They are one liter in size, so I figured they would be perfect for growing. I have enough to do a sea of green run one of these days.

A liter is perfect. Free pots are the bomb.... I'll definitely enjoy the sog, if you do it in those pots. Lots of small plants. It better be a fast strain. I think they would get root bound otherwise. Maybe dwarfs.... :thumb:

If I do SOG, It will probably be a photoperiod. I have a blueberry regular seed that I got as a freebie. I may grow that out this summer as a mother plant and then take a bunch of clones to do a hempy SOG this fall.
I still think they will get root bound unless you cut all her branches (for clones) and go straight 11/13 from the start of the clone army.

If you want to see what I mean. Look up the red cup challenge (in the forum). I know the red cup is only 18 oz (large solo cup), but a liter is only 34 oz (give or take).

Not saying to not try it.....may be a great way to continually make buds..... just hope they make it through.:green_heart:

Be warned if you have never done the "Low and Slow" that it leaves a really strong dank smell in the refrigerator that can last a couple weeks after completion. My spouse was not pleased with me after trying this method.
