The Flo-OGs showing their legs. I gave them all their first feeding since I transplanted/flowering. In retrospect I probably should have started flowering sooner. Rookie mistake.

At quoted 540 watts, I would hope the znet-9 could produce enough light to grow buds.
But yeah, it's nice to know

I'm comparing watt vs watt. the znet9 is supposed to be comparable to a 400 watt hid and this is the first grow I've seen that proves it to my eyes. cronic and crawdaddy have plants that are too big to tell if the wattage vs wattage is comparable.

Also, a couple plants are tall enough now the the light is about 5 inches from the top branch. Should I raise it up or just let it stay? I don't want it to be too far from the bottom of the plants

Your small auto looks about right for its final flush, if you have flushed then I'd starve it of water for the last week. It'll then suck all the goodness out of it's leaves into the buds in a last ditch effort to reproduce. The big auto looks a couple of weeks away as I can't see any amber trychs yet.
I have seen lights at 8" and they didn't do any harm but I can't remember what power they were. Can you bend your top cola down & tie it? This would give you more headroom if it does start to show any ill effects from the proximity of your light

It's not. I didn't expect the plants to stretch this much. I should have flowered earlier.

I need to find a better way to water. I've been taking the plants out of tent into the bath tub but they're just getting too tall. How do I capture the run off in place? They're in plastic trays now but it's hard to pour the water out of the floppy trays and obviously I don't want just leave the water there.

6 gallon shop vac cost me $25 at Lowe's this spring.
Not expensive, just takes up space.
If one accidentally mixes soil and water and let it ferment, the smell is epic bad
