BF Afghan Coco/Growstones Grow Sponsored By MightyGrow 2017

Nice build man.. that sort of stuff is over my head lol. Your lady did a great job taking care of them.. she makes a good sidekick!
Tell me about it, I'm shite at building stuff! BF seems to be able a rite natural when it comes to building stuff and throwing things together.

I was going to put them on extrusion plate heat sink like the horticulture boards.
E-mail between the builder of the boards convinced me to go without and try it.
These boards are putting out 880ppfd across the board 22inchx22inch at 20inches above canopy. At 75w, 2100mA.
The boards are rated a 100w up to 2100mA without active or passive cooling.
He is running 8 boards in a 4x4.
400w draw with very impressive results.

Very cool! Those boards are the future. I think your gonna love your lights. Im very impressed with the cobs.

Thanks it, im very lucky!! The panel wasnt too hard to put together. Anyone can build one of these lights with a little practice on some spare wire for tinning and wagos. Makes life easy.

Thanks man! I love to build stuff. Its a lot of fun.

Ok, BF great stuff your doing.
These boards are the future.
Been biding my time on lights.
Can't buy lights like I did nutrients!
Samsung diode's surpass Osaram ten fold for depth penetration.
2 boards and a driver (HLG 240H-36A), together $173. I have everything else.
2x3 foot coverage and, I can add a third board in series to this array.
The larger driver on 2 boards will allow me to "test" where I will go with them.
Operate at low wattage, or add an extrusion plate for higher wattage.
I have 4 HID 1000w ballast. That are begging to have their cases repurposed into heatsink plates.

The kits are nice.
The price is also competitive.
Horticultural prices for individual pieces for a DIY is not worth it. Might as well by the kit.
There extruder plates are well worth the price.
If you can get them.
Both companies that sell this stuff. Can't keep it in stock!
When I build the Photonfantom board kit to work great for us on a budget. Hell yeah I'll show how easy it is to throw together.
It will originate from my journal. But will share on others also.

Yeah i gotta say building up the box and lights was very easy. Im positive a kid could put it together. It was just some holes drilled out, the pots use a nut to stay in place For the monitor a dremal is nice but not necessary. Just gotta measure, i cant measure for shit. My wife helped a little with that. Building the light was just tinning the stranded wires and plugging them into wagos. Anyone can tin a wire, just practice on some extra wire.

Those qboard kits are pretty much plug and play man. A monkey could build those hlg qboard kit. You screw the driver to the heat sink on top, screw the light to the heat sink on bottom. Connect the lights in a series with the included solid core wire. Tin the stranded wire (optional/recommended) and connect it using the parts they supplied. You will love those qboards jgrow. Its the future of growing.

Yeah its crazy! Definitely subpar stuff that isn't dried or cured right and definitely doesnt get the flush. When you find a good dispensary here i keep going to them but notice they only stay around for a very short time so then i have to search again for the good stuff.

This is what i see. In LA city they limit the number of dispensary. The ones that are legit wont get shut down and typically sell the crap because im sure they know they can get away with it. There are some legit dispensary that are "boutique" but your gonna pay when you go there. The ones that arent really legal seem to sell the really good stuff but again they disapear. I had one place i was getting delivery from i used them 3 or 4 times now and they are gone when i tried to order again. Luckily i have enough to get me through till the oil i made dries. CANT WAIT FOR HOME MADE DABS!

Good luck blaze! Hope it works out for you! Def needed a stronger concentration of that stuff when i first gave it a go but i think i used some 40 or 50 ppm stuff.
I was in your neighborhood last October, walking my Niece down the isle. They went to a dispensary in Torrence & got me an oz of the house special, for $165, and It was good smoke . He don't smoke, but has a card and goes to this same one all the time, for other folks. Wish I was parked in pull off on PCH, up by Palos Verdes Estates, looking off those huge cliffs. Beautiful !! I was a Redondo Beach bum, back in the 60s !! Lived in the South Bay area from 64 to 75. Mostly Torrence. i can get the name of that Torrence dispensary if you want to try it ?

They list 3x3 or 2x4 as the flower footprint for 1 light
thanks for the prompt get back !! yea, i wont have the funds soon, but considering how little heat they produce, and the elec. savings, (if they really work), the price is surprisingly low. that I'll know from watching your grow. You using it now ?:surf:

Plants got huge. Almost up to the lights. Turned up the middle rows to be equal with the outer. They seem to love the lights. I put in 2 tbsp of bloom and i took clones
