I just tried to buy a PG400X ... It did not arrive! Hydroponics Hut did not answer their phone. I left two voice mails ... I sent two emails to the the email I got when I received confirmation of my order.

UPS is supposed to be the culprit, but it is very, very suspicious. Web site claimed a train derailment on 12 November 2013 caused delay. I called UPS ... they said train tracks pulled up on Friday, 07 February 2014 caused delay ... movement to be in a couple of days ... did not make sense because my package was to be in Portland, Oregon on that day.

I called UPS, Atlanta, GA., and they said the tracks were pulled on 05 February 2014.

Three different dates; no contact from Hydroponics Hut; and $850 of mine is gone for now.

Hydroponics Hut did respond to an email sent to sales ... I told them I wanted a refund or a light ... they opted for refund and recalled the package. I still have not seen the money returned to my bank account as of 12 February 2014.

The bank said I had to give it until the 13th of February to make a claim and then it will take 12 days to get my money back!

My plant will need to be put to flower on the 19th ... totally screwed .....

Damn, I really wanted that light too. I am still in the market for an LED light. I like the ability to use one light for veg and bloom. I want to go LED for Energy savings and heat issues. I think LED will be the way to grow for me.

Got to make a move soon ... my plant needs to be put to flower in a week!

I did a little more research .. checking our sponsors that are listed here and wound up purchasing a Lush Light. They even have a dealer here in Oregon who had one on display that he would knock off $200. Heck of a deal.

Can you give us more info on the cost, and who you dealt with?

I hope the admin people don't get too bent, but here is a link to whom I purchased the Lush LED panel from:

GardenSpout.com | Indoor Gardening and Hydroponics Supplies | Portland OR, Santa Rosa and Willts, CA

The total for light was $1120

I sure is a beaut for a 4X4 tent ... my plant went nuts on it!

With both spectrums going, the temp inside the tent is about 83* Relative humidity around 32. Humidity rises and falls on how much water is on the plant ... and I had to put a fan on the tent to draw in air and push it out .. this keeps the humidity down.

With only the red spectrum on, the temp stays around 75* I am an old man so my room temp is high too ... I keep the room around 70-72.

I plan on curing in the tent too ... I will have to figure out how to control the humidity so the product will cure properly.

Thanks for the response! It makes my day to be able to share a little.

RE LEDs I have been using one with a lens system and the really bad part of a lens system is the fact that it doesn't spread out as a normal light would. Mine was supposed to cover a 3X3 area but it has a very hot spot directly under the light, so much so that it's like having the sun in a 1X1.5 foot area and full shade in the rest.

One more item is that in order to say how many channels are in the lights most manufactures add UV and IR both of which don't really help plant growth, I would rather have more in other ranges that plants really use. The sad part is the LED does a great job but only for 1 plant maybe 2 if they are kept very small. Because of the footprint I am lucky to get 1oz per plant but it's great shit.
