Speaking of The Fiend Folio, I used to have all the books back in the day, as well as all the TSR published Dungeon Modules. I even had the Deities and Demi-Gods book that still had the Lovecraftian Cthulu mythos in them, as well as Fafred and The Grey Mouser, and the Conan series Gods and Heroes. I was told those books are worth bookoo bucks these days, not that it would probably matter to me, I think books should be used, not collected, unless you have the money for doubles, which I did not back when I was 12-13yrs old! My favorite D&D classes back then were The Paladin, and the Dwarf Fighter. The Paladin because they represented as close as possible the ideal Knight, one that fought for all the right reasons, which meant a true Paladin always would try to avoid a fight in any way possible, but force him to do so, and especially at the higher levels, He/She will kick your ass. They also seemed to me to try and hold up the highest virtues of Knighthood, kinda like Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. Or in a newer vein, like Eddard Stark, from "Game of Thrones" which is what the HBO TV series is called, the books are called I believe " A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE". I always liked Dwarves, after reading all of the Tolkien books so many times I could recite poetry from them, because of their generally gruff attitudes(DWARVES), but in the end, good hearts. I was also mesmerized on everything about Moria, The Forgotten Mountain and the Iron Hills. It just always seemed cool to be able to go underground and live in cities that constantly had beautiful things being made in them, including the cities themselves, and that little bit of Dwarf greed that made them covet everything they had, and their willingness to risk all to gain those things back, should they have been taken from them. I'll Go For Now. SINCERELY, JAMESTHEGREEN.
