BeezLuiz & LiquidIntel Are At It Again: Outdoor Grow Season 3

Typically I top autos at 21 days from germination. This should give them time to grow out after. If you have plants going into flower that fast I would question the genetics. Not all autos are created equal.

I've been complaining about the wind for a week now, and finally it took out one of my plants yesterday (Killer A5 Haze):
I'm mad at the wind, but mostly mad at myself because I thought about supporting that node earlier in the day and then got side-tracked with something else. It's the whorled phyllotaxy node site where I made my first topping. All the main top branches come out of there.
Oh well, it'll probably be ok. I just taped it up with some garden tape and added some stakes for better support. I've had splits like that in the past and they ended up supporting some nice buds, so we'll see.

Ouch! I’ve been worried about that very same result of the gusty conditions here! The wind will suddenly change direction from N to S, and every branch whips back and forth! So far, the bonds have been tight enough to keep everything secure, but it still stresses me out some,

Excellent repair Luiz! Here’s hoping for a quick recovery!
:green_heart:

Excellent repair job, Beez!
Good idea staking the branches- today is shaping up to be windier than yesterday!
At least it is where I'm at...it's miserable out there already...

Well, 2 days after the repair. She doesn't seem to notice it even happened. Cannabis plants are amazing! :)

That kind of thing bothers us a lot more than it bothers the plants...
That KH is looking good, Beez!

Well, I've only grown 3 autos previously so I don't have much personal experience to go on. My best came in at 2.8 oz, but I've seen so many really nice autos grown by the peeps here that I feel I should be able to do better than what I've done so far.
Outside is a whole other kettle of fish, especially with autos i think. There is Just not the available light in most circumstances to maximise autos outside. They can still grow well of course but ...
little over 1 pound.
from 2 plants on one pot was almost definitely achieved with excellent indoor conditions and long light hours, amiriight penny? WHat were the light-hours for that one?

So I still think over 2oz for an auto outside isn’t bad at all!

Maybe there are ones that are more suited to outside - I’m seeking that out now. I am thinking of just planting a whole lot outside over summer. I’d be fun to run like 20 of them or something! I dont think i have that kind of space tho :hmmmm:

Thanks. I really have high expectations from her - for both yield and smoke.

I've had the same thoughts, but since our State was kind enough to make it legal to grow now, I'd like to stay within the 6 plant limit.
I was running 20/4 light with HLG boards. I used Dynagro nutrients. Aroma and taste was straight kerosine. Nice Diesel type high to it.
It certainly was the right combination of environment, nutrients, and genetics. :thumb:

Last week @Liquidintel stopped by for a visit. We took the opportunity to try out the new pandemic joint holders. We shared a White Widow joint by moving it between the two holders. It worked really well - better than expected.

Update on the Autos:
Pink Kush CBD Auto
It's actually looking pretty good on day 54. It just looks really wimpy sitting next to the photos.

Monster Bruce Banner Auto
This girl got started a little later than PKa so it's only on day 48, but it's not going to be a monster that the name suggests. Starting to frost up nicely.

Sweet CBD Auto
This one got an even later start. It's only on day 31 and has just started going into flower.

Photo Girls
A few pics of the photo plants cuz I just love how they all look right now. Oh, and Gorilla Breath is already showing pistils!

What’s not to love there! :D Beautiful colour and stature on all of those photoperiods! Ive had lots of autos look like that outside. The Early Miss I have growing now under QBs is producing completely different flowers to the one I grew outside - the outside one had a bud structure just like that first pic of yours.

Can’t wait to see all the big kids into flower - they are loving whatever you’re doing that’s for sure  :yummy:
