Went out to see what damage the storm did last night. I pounded rain for hours and the wind was bad. The big ppg is leaning pretty bad but it still standing. The Chernobyl was hit the worst. One branch is broken off and they are all leaning really bad. I will take a few pictures when I go back out. All the rest are doing fine. GRRRRRRR

Sorry to hear it Bee. I guess that's part of the fun of it. Growing outside in nature and all. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger

Mother nature. Storms, heat & bugs. And they say it's free?!

Well I went out and really surveyed the damage. The 4 chernobyl got hit pretty hard. They were all leaning and one lost branch. I drove steel posts in and tied them up. Now I hope the root system tightens up.

Time will tell now. Maybe being tossed around last night will set there hormones to flower faster. Dam near dying has a tendency to get things going in a humans world.

Well damn they did deal with the storm really pretty good. Lost just one branch, that one branch was huge though! Bigger than most people's entire plants

So atleast they fared well! Strong specimens there. Hopefully the event will kick them into flower.

I noticed some holes on the foliage in one of the pictures, looked like the culprit of a caterpillar, but can't tell for sure.

Anyway, thanks for the pics and good job repairing everything.

Yeah, my plants went through rainstorm after rainstorm this year, there was even a hailstorm from which they all had ripped leaves. I lost some plants to these weather events, however the strongest ones were hardened as steel and virtually nothing could have broken them after that. Your damage doesn't look very serious, so hopefully everything will be all right tomorrow

sorry for that weather ,, but they look like they fared well really ,, I dont want to add to this but the cola on the PGG is looking strange
I didnt see anything like that ,, Hey budder you still have the dreamiest garden an nature has her own style LST for some off her fav plants
its certainly all seems to be on flower mode I dont no what to say about the PGG. Recently Paddy has been talking about wanting to do a return to India
if we do I will be driving to the said area an asking a lot of questions ,, any how I am half sativad Love to you an yours

Yup they didn't fare to bad but the roots are loose so a fair amount of roots got ripped. I don't think it will matter and I'm sure they will reroot and be stable again. The branch was good sized but lucky it wasn't one of the big ones. I have seen the holes and they are rather hit and miss. I've looked for the culprit but haven't found any. Rainstorms are getting more severe here in the Northwest. The rain gauge measured 2.5 inches and most of that came in an hour. I'm hoping just like yours did, that got strong after there pounding. Don't you just love it.

Howdy BAR for the kudos on the back yard. Mother Nature has her own ways and there isn't a dam thing we can do about it. Still does kind of pieeeessssssss a person off. I may be in the dead clone club after this one. Heck why not try. 5 gallon bucket with a foam insert, an air stone and water. If it looks like it's perked up tomorrow morning I might let it go. It's 7' 2" to the peak of the greenhouse.

my friend and good morning weed to yea. The way these are starting to flower is very weird. Cool heading back to the loved land. That would be fun to go ask "what the heck is going on with my girls"

for the nice words SoilGirl. things are looking better this morning. Just about all the branch's are looking for the sun. Plants look a little droopy this morning but it was in the 50s last night. I think I will leave the clone alone and just hope for roots. There's must be 15 cola sites plus all the smaller ones. she must be feeling all the good vibes sent by all.
