Happy Tokerday Buck. With a lot of growers growing them we should be able to find the ones that will fit our needs. I like Bubblelicious for it's depression and anxiety traits. I have a person I make a tincture for that has those problems and it sure helps her. And now the northern lights looks like it's going to be a nice producer. I'm hoping I will have a good fall to see if I can get the big girls to their finish. It might be the year the we have good weather way into October. The last two years haven't been that great. Good morning weed everyone. :yummy: It has started here in the NW. Thunder, lightning and rain. Hard at times but the girls are just spreading wings and loving it. This rain will lower the fire danger for the west side and I hope it's helping a little in the mountains. Now I really have to watch for bud rot. Suppose to be nice by Freeweed day.

Happy Cannabis Day BeemerBill,

We have yet to realize the rain on the east side of the mountains. The smoke here is terrible but much better today. We also had an 11 acre fire out by Cheney which threw up a bunch of smoke. Good thing this sort of thing doesn't effect my lungs like it does some other folks.

We hope to get some rain this evening. I doubt it will be much and just top go back to the mid 90's on Monday. Hot summer here.

The deed is done and the hermi is no longer! My Thai plant hermied due to changing the light from 18 to 12 hrs, I think. Next round I'll reduce the lighting schedule slowly. It's a pity I lost the Thai she was growing very nicely. Oh well that's life, time to move on to the next mountain to climb. I hope you and the Misses are doing well! Time to get baked.

The only flowering I have going on is the autos. The rest are just growing very nicely.

After this rain and sun back out, hopefully tomorrow, I'm sure they will be taking off crazy again. There are 9 plants in this picture and the big ones are PGG.

Wow Beemer your outdoor girls are absolutely beautiful. I wish I had the space to let them get that big but don't dare in my back yard. I live in town and those would be real hard to hide. So have any of the outside ones started to pre-flower? All 4 of mine have varying signs of pre-flower.

Hello Big Budha and welcome to 420. Maybe you already know, but Thai sativas are natural hermaphrodites so you may not have caused it. I first learned this when some Thai stick female plants pollinated my entire outdoor grow. It was 1980, and I had never heard of cannabis hermaphroditism. I had removed all males and was stunned at harvest to find seeds! Funny thing I wasn't that upset since I needed good seeds, and the non Thai plants were from a batch of high grade Mexican. I grew those Thai Mex seeds for many years. I don't know, but maybe even modern super breeders can't get rid of that gene?

Bright I did not know that. Were the seeds you got from the Mex plants Hermi as well?? Also how was the smoke from the Thai Stick Hermie?

I've since often read that Thai hermi tendency is much greater than other strains. Good point that Mex could have been culprit but I think it was the Thai. Far more seeds resulted anytime Thai was part of a grow. Both the Thai & the Mex were good and so was the combo seed smoke in following years.
