Bassman59's Revenge of the Clones! 600w Pro-Bloom LED - RDWC - Grow #2

I ordered 2 hygrometers perfect for the jars a bit over two weeks ago off ebay. Knew in advance they would take 2-3 weeks to get here from Hong Kong. But alas not yet. It's been 18 days.

Final weight and some pics:

8.37 oz dry bud. 1/2 of expected and I'm sure it's because of them just not swelling up. I wish I knew with 100% accuracy why they didn't swell.

Everything is in the curing jars now and tucked away.

I took a load of pics. I'll try to sort through them. Any opinions on if anything is nug of the month worthy would be appreciated.

:welldone::high-five: "pancake syrup sticky" that's an epic description, my friend!

Very good looking harvest :goodjob:

That's a good haul of medicine that should go a long way for your Mothers needs. Not to mention what you have on deck.

You're a master grower the way I see it, Bass. Producing some very good results under an LED light. Would love to see what you could do under an HID with that set-up. Not knocking the LED, or its advantages in your application.

Keep up the great work! I've got me reserved seat

Well, it didnt come out great. Not horrible or anything. Smooth flavor. No couch lock. heady but not way out there.

That's the report I got anyways. As many know, I don't indulge anymore. Haven't since the mid 70's. Besides, drug testing at work any time they wish (and of course pre-employment testing 3 months ago). This is to treat elderly mom's ailments. But I had a cpl friends try it.

Planning on making budder and hash next week.

Just posting, so I will be notified when you post my Friend. What you doing is very Noble my friend:cheertwo:

Thank you OMM, and welcome to my old journal! Only thing left for me to do here is make the hash, budder, and give a more complete smoke report.

My Master Kush grow is really my current one. But you're welcome to sub this one and wait! :blalol:

Well, it was either that or spend all my time on midget porn.

Thanks a bunch SpiriTHC. /bow

Bass how did the drying rack work out? I'm thinking about picking one up. I need some thing that I can keep behind the locked door. I was thinking about hanging one up in a corner. They're supposed to be kept dark correct? maybe I could make a cover, like a bird cage cover or similar to keep the light out.

I liked using it SG. I hung it in my tent and closed it up. I even left my tubs with water in them in the tent to create some humidity. I was able to get the humidity dialed in perfect with a mix of fans on/off. I'm glad I got it. I don't really have a proper hanging setup so it really simplified things for me. Also, using the tent, rather than immediate move in to flower of vegging gals, saved me a few days of energy bill, and made me focus on veg gals and preparing for 12/12. General cleanup, chores a miss, etc.

Thanks for sharing your grow with us!

Don't forget to head over to the 420 Strain Reviews forum and post your smoke report there too! :cheertwo:

I’m moving this to completed journals now.

In the future, whenever you complete a journal, please use the Report Post feature found at the bottom left of every post, so we can be alerted to move it for you.

Hope all is well in your world.

Love and respect from all of us here at 420 Magazine!

Nice turn out. I enjoyed this journal. I think that is more of a drip aeroponics set up than a DWC set up. DWC set ups have the water up much higher, touching the roots in the baskets, then slower lowered as the roots grow, right? Also, I don't recall them having drip lines in the baskets.

Your set-up looks identicle to a drip system, which is aeroponics. The other kind of aeropinics I know of is the kinds that mist the roots, but they still require a bubbler in the water to keep the water oxygenated.

I am going to try my first grow in a similar set up, actually, or the rainforest 318; it depends if they cancel my order or not.

I will be using a 300w LED light. I am thinking of buying a few cheap sublimatary lights.

The feed lines, or "drip hoses" only drip on the cubes until the roots reach the water/nutrient. From that point on they are removed as is the pump inside and it's regular dwc.

I've since changed and start with the water a little higher, no tubing feeding the cubes, and once roots reach below basket I lower the water level.
