hey man, ive looked threw the journal back and fourth to try to find what im looking for but i didnt so if its already been said somehwere i appoligize for asking but what do you use for nutrients? and soil?

Wow, this grow was a few years ago now... I'm pretty sure I was using AN's Iguana Juice grow and bloom for this grow, and the medium was likely HP pro-mix with some worm castings... I don't grow in soil anymore - switched to Waterfarm growing, with which I'm able to get much higher yeilds from 1-2 plants instead of 4-6 in soil... anyone interested can check out my journals on the r0llitup site - I use the same username there. peace.

Also do a search on youtube for my Tangerine Dream waterfarm grow - my username there is 'Canadagrows'

looks like fantastic bud mate :) im currently in my fourth week of flower with my vanilla kush . can i ask you 1 question mate ? how long did you vegg your plants for ?
thanks

I think it was about 7 weeks - just under 2 months. They'll double in size, you just have to take that into consideration according to how much vertical room you have, and still be able to keep them at least 10-12" from the light. I used a cool-tube light, so that allowed me to let them get a bit closer, but...that's something you'll need to figure out. :)

was they from seed or cutting ? i got 2 600 watt hps air cooled lights on top of the buds are about inches away from the light :)should b nice thick buds hopefulli

Awesome, yeah the closer you can get w/o problems, the better. I always start my grows from seed, as I don't have room for clones, mothers, etc..

My vanilla kush was massive! The top cola was the size of a small child. I held it like a baby. First plant I ever grew. Would do a pic if I knew how

Man I got the same seeds an mine were totally different my p file has Vk 2 weeks in to flower it just looks totally different an i have ran it for awhile an the yields suck wish mine were close to yours a great smoke tho. Yours just looks so different. Not trying to say u r a lie or nothing. Makes me wonder if I am getting wat I should have from these bean banks

Which seed bank do you order from? I've received all my seeds from Attitude seed-bank. There's so many factors that could effect how the end result 'looks', that it's really tough to go by pics - but I do know that my seeds came in sealed breeders packs from Barney's, so I'm pretty confident their correct. We grew out VK in both soil and hydro - the soil grow was left to grow 'Christmas Tree' style with just some light LST early on to encourage more tops (no topping or fimming was done), as well as some super-cropping (pinching and twisting tops) in early flower. The hydro grow (using a waterfarm) was scrogged and then supercropped in the same way as the soil grow. We noticed a difference it it's appearance between those two grow methods, but the end result (taste, smoke, potency) was basically the same. Yields were quite alot higher with the hydro/scrog though.

I'm new to the site, How do you start a thread?
