Barneys Farm Sponsors Grow: Gorilla Zkittles, Orange Sherbert Plus Many More

Hard mostly because it's practically all one color!
IMG_8774.JPG

Starting to look like one of my blacklight posters from 1973.
Some colors are just difficult to "wash out"

I'm sure you already know! LoL

Yellows & oranges aren't bad, but red & green are tough

And now for the 2000k lighting....

And a sexy toe for the Ladies !

And here is an update for my Barneys girls. Trying not to bomb Prof.lol
am loving their progress . cant catch any time to fit new lights yet , sodding frustrating but they are happy enough at the moment. Any thoughts on how much longer to go on with veg. Height not bad an issue at present but with Led i can probably go 5ftx5ft max for flowering if they are as critical about being in the zone to produce ?. With Hps , even the edges of the grow get reflection and develop fairly decent but these are a new arena for me to squeeze.

That's 2 questions I cant answer lol. I've not done the quad thing but I guess the veg time is up to you. They certainly look like they could be flowered now. As for the LED I'm not sure what the footprint is for your lights and also the fact that every LED model is used differently. The manual should have the best hanging distances for each stage of growth. Can't wait to see your plants under it.

Well it's pretty hot here today and the 600w HPS is running way cooler than the combined 600w of LED I was using before. That was a nice surprise. The red Cobs that I was using got pretty hot and unlike the HPS which has a cool tube to help with direct extraction the heat from the LEDs built up before going through the carbon filter and out the window. Now that I have the 200w high bay light freed up I will add it to the other flowering tent after the current grow to create 400w of white light for flowering the next plants. Hope everyone's is enjoying the weekend so far. We actually have nice weather today but we've been warned to make the most of it lol. Happy growing everyone

Veg Tent Update....

I killed some more thrips this morning on SL 2. She had 6 on the underside of her leaves. Still none on any of the others but I'm checking twice a day now. I think that the thrip damage is noticeable in her growth as she's the smallest plant and the only one having her life sucked out. Maybe it's coincidence but I doubt it this time. I'll give them another week then I'll transplant them into bigger pots. Looking good other than the little bit of damage to the leaves cause don't by my new nemesis. Apparently I forgot to take pics of them individually today lol....

The Gorilla Zkittles....

She's been pretty fun to grow. If I had known how much support she needed I'd have probably done things a little different. She's got some great bud production and although the buds are quite small they're numerous. They stink and are like super glue. I wasn't sure what to expect with this strain but I did think that she'd probably have a bit of gorrila influence. I'm not familiar with the Zkittles but I've heard that it's also very sticky. I'd say that so far she's been reasonably easy to grow and and it looks like it will be a rewarding strain. It's day 41 for her today. She's under 200w of 3200k lighting and is being fed 20g of MegaCrop per 10ltrs of water with every feed. I'm going to reduce that number down to 18g on the next feed though....

Orange Sherbert....

I love this strain. She's beautiful and I really like her short stature. She'd be perfect for a little army of 12/12 clones. I think that she'd make a great choice as a mother plant and I'm glad that I have a couple more of them to try out at a later date. Really easy to grow though she needs good defoliation otherwise she smothers herself with the leaves. Another thing is her impressive flowering growth. Now my pheno didn't have much stretch at all but was fully flowering by day 15. Her buds are close together and are filling up nicely. She's starting to get pretty frosty now and her smell gets better by the day. Her environmental conditions are the same as the GZ though she's on 22g of MegaCrop. However also like the GZ I shall be reducing it over the next few feeds....

Phantom OG....

What a strain! She's a tough plant with impressive growth which is also beautiful to look at. There's not much in the way of smell yet but it's early days yet. She's going to be great though come the end. I think I've hit the limit with her nutes as she is finally showing some signs of nutrient burn. I'm dropping her food down just as I am with the other 2. I've been messing around with the camera and can't seem to find out how to take better pics though I'm sure that you can. I've taken some bright pics, some really bright pics and some slightly less bright pics....

Nice weather for sitting in the garden maybe. Shit for having a total rebuild in your grow room to avoid the Mother in law with hedge loppers outside !!!. heehee
Still popping 27 °c in the attic and had to changed t-shirt 3 times doing it. I had to kill the kids paddling pool to redo the Drain table idea so wont be popular when they inflate it with no bottom in !!! Bad Daddy.
Here we have the new and improved summer survival grow tent. lol
Girls love having more space it seems did snap the best Gz at one of her 2 biggest mains ( box fell over!!) .have taped her hard so fingers crossed she knuckles this week before i switch.

Just what the dr ordered. Look at her. she will be such a great yield prof. Brilliant work with her mate

I used a blue lens from sunglasses on my last grow for pics. worked ok. no idea of the k range of hps but the glasses were grow room ones. used to fit fairly well but did convex the pics slighty if it slipped down.

Let's see what @Preston9mm can do with this one! Lol
Think ya got me stumped there... lol

100% certain you have stolen the sun & put it in your grow like HH said!

I'm sure you'll find a good solid setting on your camera. Those things can do so much more! Can't wait to upgrade from this phone.

I've just stuck with my phone for so long because we don't even own a computer in our home right now. We have all just adapted to working from our darn phone for everything.

Thinking about buying a "Beginner Set" and a cheap laptop before my next harvest.
