Hey 420! Today is day 12 from seed for the Gorilla Zkittles and Orange Sherbert. Both look great and appear to have enjoyed their first watering. Good growth on both with no apparent slow up and hopefully I'll be able to top them next week. I've finally decided where these 2 will be going and that is side by side in the 120x60 tent with 400w of LED power to keep them happy. I'll be combining my 2 white Lights units one being 3200k and the other 4500k. The 3200k light is actually a modular light consisting of 2 units rated at 100w each. I normally only run 200w in this tent but have decided to go for maximum coverage as these plants will be a little taller than I'm used to growing and I want light to penetrate the canopy as best it can. The Phantom OG is doing well also and I'll be flowering her in a few months time in the 100x100 tent all by herself. Haven't decided what lighting I'll be using for this one yet. I may just use the 2 remaining COB units that rated at 200 actual watts but I'm not sure it'll be enough bang so I may add something else. We'll be heading into the summer by then so I will be at the mercy of the weather and may not be able to add another light. We shall have to see. Here they are today....

All the babies are off to a great start! Love the fat leaves on the indica babies!

there is just something about indica leaves. I'll try and get one of these as big as my face so I can make a mask out of it for my new avatar lol

Thank you VG. They're kinda cute at the moment. They feel as if they're going to be naturally short but strong plants at the moment. Check back in a couple weeks to see 2 leggy stick plants lol

Thanks N420! It seems like most of the hype is for the Gorilla Zkittles at the moment but I'm just as excited about the Orange Sherbert. How will you be growing her? :)
 
ill be growing 4 of them .probably going to do a 2 month veg aiming for 2 foot plants , hoping to end up with 4 fters in flower . I did supercopping on my last grow might try LST this time around
 
How's the wife doing? When are you guys due?
 
really curious to see what you will do with her what kind of training you will do
 
Hey @N420. I think I'll be doing as little to them as possible. I may do a bit of LST and a bit of defoliating but I want to show the plants for what they are. I'll be giving them a similar veg, 8-10 weeks seems like a good idea. I should be able to get excellent light penetration using 3 separate units in a 120x60 tent :)

Hi @Virgin ground. She's ok. It's getting tougher now but it's not long. Expecting 19th April lol. If she could just hold on for one more day :)

Update time!
Hey 420! Well there's no holding these two back. I think they like my light watering method in which I'm only giving them a little each day. I've not fully saturated the pots yet and don't intend to for another week or so. I'm doing this with the Phantom as well. They're still only on tap water with a rough ph of around 7-7.5 which we only measure every 2 weeks or so. The new arrival is growing well and looks healthy. Here we are today....

Thanks Birdie. It feels like they've done most of the work so far. I'm itching to drop more but my plan doesn't allow for it. I have another surprise coming up but it's not yet time to disclose :)

My surprises are slow.:( We also need a sad emoji that streams tears. I like to feel sorry for myself a lot and feel as though I'm being discriminated against.
 
Hey 420! We are still on autopilot with these babies. I finally worked out how to take non blurry pics of seedlings. Turns out you have to manual focus. Me and technology aren't the best of friends lol, I mean we tolerate each other but hey. Anyway back to business. They seem to be enjoying the 7000k LED floodlight that I use for veg now. It's a pretty rubbish light but it does the trick for vegging. I just checked to see if they needed watering again and I decided I'm going to wait until the morning and give them a trickle before I head off to work. Everything seems good so I'm going to continue doing what I'm doing. I probably won't have to give them any veg nutes for some time as they'll be in these pots for another couple weeks then they'll be transplanted into fresh soil. I may get away with it but if they do start looking like they need a feed then I have some Biobizz fish mix on standby. Here we are today....

Lol. I didn't know that I'd be doing surprises when I joined last September. The next one is going to be pretty cool but it's not finalised yet though. It's not going to be for a little while just yet either.
I feel bad now. I didn't come here to discriminate, I came here to hide from the prejudices of the world and pretend I'm a scientist lol. I'm sure there must be something that you can surprise us with :)
