Awesome! Thanks Shed! Great tips and appreciate the help as always! Now to play the waiting game for it haha!In the hole, on the rootball, and mixed in with the promix as well, even though there is mycorrhizae in it.
Ah very sneaky! 10/4When you get there, a trick that Amy taught me was to spray the hole and the rootball with water so the Mykos will stick.
Hi mate, this is my 1st indoor grow in over 20 so I am flying blind. I am trying to follow the recommendations from the fluency high ppfd guide as in my signature. I suppose I am just being cautious as I this is my 1st run with a completely new equipment which I am not used to. I have a journal in my signature if you want to take a look.I think it says on their website that their PPM numbers won't reflect what our pens say, so I just go by weight (until the powder soaks up moisture in the air, then I go by more weight!). In solo cups the first nutes were 2g/gallon (4g cut by 50% with plain water), but now that they've both been up-canned they're getting 4g/gallon.
Just curious why you're keeping the lux in the low 20s at this stage of their lives? Mine are a bit smaller and they're in the mid-30s.

Iso alcohol (70%) mixed 1:9 or 1:8 with water. Spray the undersides daily just before lights out. Neem will work too in veg but iso is so cheap.I am currently at war with a quite severe thrip invasion.
Thanks Magoo. Hopefully they'll pick up the pace once they have some more room. I need them to be a little close to the light as wellBeautiful pics of the seedlings there Prof!
I've got some spinosad turning up tomorrow. I can't believe they haven't jumped tents and are only effecting POG. I've checked everywhere and can't find them on the other. I'm not complaining. It's just oddIso alcohol (70%) mixed 1:9 or 1:8 with water. Spray the undersides daily just before lights out. Neem will work too in veg but iso is so cheap
Lol. Hooray for the internet! You can be on holiday and at home at the same time lol. How's the weather? It's going pretty nice here today. Maybe you could have set up a camera to watch your seedling while you were away. Probably a bad idea as you'd be watching that all day instead of swimming in the pool lol! Have fun GGit was very disturbing seeing the pics of Prof letting the ladies suckle ! , but needs must .lol.
Landed , sat in the sun eating a hot dog with cool shandy and all i can think of is " How do i get my 4g going here to get onto 420?. " what a saddo. heehee.
already worrying about my little ladies all alone at home missing their daddy however , within an hour of checking in and a mini explore I scored thisThose " lucky , lucky " men dont only sell shot glasses and fake bags!!. Cheeky fucker tried to charge me €50 ( £46)) for 1 g. i laughed my bollocks off at him and explained uk pricing and not being a mug. I got it for €12 (£10). has zero looking trich count and smells like badly dried shit but....... surprisingly passable and an ok buzz. Same shit in Morocco once , guy came through a jam packed market place , directly to me among thousands of gaces amd asked me if i wanted Hasish. I must look like a right stoner even when abroad ffs. lol
peace and blessings
I also just ordered this for when I’m ready to transplant. It should be here in a few weeks.
less growing costs for decent yields sounds good. Also showing how light power isnt the deciding factor to good yields in the process would be an education too.Flowering Day 1....
Let the games begin! Well we are in the Flowering Inferno now and its day 1. I'll be giving these 2 some nutes on the next feed as I've decided that they look like they could do with some. I lifted the pots earlier and can definitely notice the difference in weight. The humidity has dropped as well indicating they they may need a watering. Not sure how much food to give them yet though as it's fresh soil and the plants are still adjusting to the new pots. The GZ is still suffering slightly but I think that the new requirements brought on by flowering may actually be of benefit. I can see this one being a hungry lady and needing more food than the OS. As for the OS, she's looking better but needs more work. I've had a day off from the growroom today and the lights have gone off recently so I'm going to have a go at tidying her up a little tomorrow. Because she's just gone into flower I'm going to be gentle do a little at a time.....
Bit of leaf damage on the GZ. I'm still not 100% sure as to what's going on but it's envromemtal and not genetics. "It's not you it's me"as they say lol....
The Gorilla Zkittles getting ready to shoot off!....
Orange Sherbet. I will give you a haircut, I promise....
They are currently under the 200w 3200k grow lights as it's pretty warm. The temp is 26C at canopy height but there is a nice breeze blowing across the tent. I was going to use these lights until around week 3 then turn on the 200w 4500k high bay led. I was thinking though. Should I have a go at 2 grams per watt using 200w? I nearly did it before using these lights in one of my previous journals. I did have 10 plants in hydro though and my canopy was good and spread across the entire space. I don't know. What should I do? I could use max lighting which I'm sure will give me a better chance for a decent yield but it may get hot at times. Or I could use just these and see if I can break my 200w record. The 200w grow would be way more efficient and the environment would be easier to manage. I don't know I'll let you decide....
Happy growing everyone
hahaha i did use a webcam for previous holidays a couple of years ago which was helpful but 4g has killed the cameras use sadly. It is nice and sunny but the breeze is killer. temp drops causing chills.lol typical of when i go away the uk heats up.Lol. Hooray for the internet! So we are right on track with each other Prof! My seedlings are on Day 11 today and are just a bit bigger than yours! We should be able to grow beside each other from start to finish woohoo!Thank you for bringing some information that is of use to my thread. Here's my seedlings on day 10 I think lol. This is what the MegaCrop is doing for me using the "tip of a teaspoon" method. I think that they could be doing a bit better but they're not bad....
Blue Gelato 41....
Strawberry lemonade....
Thanks cookie! I believe the azos is a nitrogen fixing bacteria and the MykosWP is the beneficial fungi! I’ve only ordered the MykosWP for now but I will read more into the azos! I appreciate the input for sure!If you haven't already you should look into using Azos alongside the Mykos. I premix them both in my soil, add it around the hole where I plant the seed, on the root ball for every transplant and I water with azos once every week or two during veg. I've been using it about 2 years now but the difference in my roots was visably noticeable. The whole pot fills up with those tiny thin roots.
Thanks Irie. I'm not 100% happy with them. There's something that's a little off and I think that it's the nutrients. It's difficult to gage how much to give them. I've just upped it slightly so we shall see how that plays outPerfect looking seedlings you've got the Professor
Ok, so that's you and Dutch for the 200w growless growing costs for decent yields sounds good. Also showing how light power isnt the deciding factor to good yields in the process would be an education too.
seeing all these major successes with LED has me hankering the conversion now. crazy electricity bills and needing so many methods to cool them is a pain. seeing the devolpment of led has way more than my interest now.
Will prepare my rescue equipment for the inferno to come prof.
I don't want to rub it in but it was bloomin lovely here today. That was rubbing it in wasn't it?hahaha i did use a webcam for previous holidays a couple of years ago which was helpful but 4g has killed the cameras use sadly. The POG will be out of there soon so I'll have space for the DWC pots and some better light. How long were you planning on vegging for?So we are right on track with each other Prof! I was between either GreatWhite or the MykosWP and I landed on MykosWP because of the price difference and the reviews!! I look forward to seeing how it works and giving it a good test!
As long as it's in veg I'd stick with the iso/water, for a couple of reasons. First is it kills on contact, where spinosad takes 24-48 hours. Second is it will last in the spray bottle, where all the spinosad you mix needs to be used within a day. And third, this:I've got some spinosad turning up tomorrow.
"Spinosad is generally not effective for control of sucking insects such as aphids, whiteflies, most thrips, scale, mites or true bugs (stink bugs, spittle bugs, mealy bugs, lygus bugs, harlequin bugs, cabbage bugs, cicadas, leaf hoppers, tree hoppers, blue sharpshooters, etc"As long as it's in veg I'd stick with the iso/water, for a couple of reasons. Spinosad is recommended to be used at the rate of 4 Tablespoonfuls per gallon of water but not more than six times during the growing season.
