*Boxing day was originally named that because the servants in England had to work on Christmas, so on the 26th they were given the day off and their Christmas box (gift). I don't think Canada has a history of the whole upstairs/downstairs thing, but since the Queen is still on their cash, I guess the tradition goes along with it!

Sadly nothing has changed with many if us still working Christmas day in care jobs still. I thought it was because after a whole day forced together with relatives we avoid that the fighting usually starts !!!. thanks mate.

I wouldn't say it's a hot item at the local eatery. We typically have hot turkey sandwiches after Christmas which is open faced bread on a plate with turkey on top smothered in gravy. Most chicken sandwiches are grilled or crispy deep fried around here.

I once cut my gentitals when I worked in Asda on a bacon slicer !!!!..... She got the sack too !

We call it soggy bread Turkey stew . crispy fried , now that sounds so much more my bag .

It's just the toaster that makes bacon and eggs. The plate is for eating off. I still have the George Formby Grill.

I saw those pans with sections for breakfast fry ups and thought I had wandered into the kids dolls accessories section. I need a wok with a fridge door on for my griddle pan !. lol

Flowering Day 14....

Hey 420. We've reached the second week of flower and this morning when I got up I decided to do a bit of work to them. It occurred to me that the Tropicanna Banana may get too big and top heavy to remove from the tent by week 3 so I thought I'd clean up the lower part of the plant now. She does have a bit of a sway to her so I think it's was for the best. I've done a pretty good job this time though it was quite an easy plant to trim up. I've done a little to the Dos Si Dos 33 but haven't finished with her just yet. I've taken most of the biggest fans which has opened her up a lot. She has some pretty bendy and stretchy growth inside which will now get some light. Both of the plants are showing pre-flowers beginning to form now so flower is officially underway. I really do have to stake these this time. The TB IS going to flop over and the DSD needs to be bent down. So far things seem to be going ok though there is something that caught my eye. The Dos Si Dos has a really weird central stem. It looks leathery and old before it's time. I touched it and it's what I'd imagine Gollum's finger to feel like....

looking good prof.thought a more fitting example would be King Kongs fingers next to banana. I have similar with these autos. some are so rapidly expanded that they have scarred and built on them. I think the do similar to us on that score. does make for some gruesome looking growing patterns

That's one chunky knuckle GG. Looks like it had a good split that's healed up nicely. I like the look of some of those mother plants which have been chopped back over and over for a couple years. The main stem ends up looking all gnarled and twisted. I've had some plants which made it to about a year old before I ditched them or killed them as I remember lol

its still growing too. I had to raise the lights again today. If I made a pipe from the Tropicanna Banana then I'd need Mrs.F to light it for me

lol. I didn't want to do anything like that this time around but after seeing the difference in size between the 2 I may have to. I'm running out of tiles for the Dos Si Dos. TB has a few branches which have shot up and will need taming as well. Perhaps you'll get to see your bendy bud after all

Hey HH. Good to hear from you. Christmas was more relaxing than I thought it was going to be. It was quite nice thIs year. The brother in law brought his kids down with him which helped to keep ours entertained lol. That meant that there was a little more time than usual for smoking J's and looking at nice views. Hope yours was a good one.

Hey 420. I've been busy and getting ready for party number 2 recently so haven't been on the site quite as much. It's my daughters third birthday tomorrow so that is my excuse for not going out in the evening lol. The PerfectPipe is gonna get a workout throughout the day tomorrow. Dinosaur party's are much better after bowl or 2. Then after that I'll try to stay awake to wish you all a happy new year lol. I'll do an update tomorrow as today I thought I'd make the most of the Easter sales and got a few things from town for tomorrow's trials. For now though, here is some nug porn. Play safe peeps....
