HARVEST RESULTS
Well I didn't fall asleep! That means we can have the results tonight. There were a few surprises in there. I got a couple predictions right but was way off with some others. Well here it goes....
Shishkaberry....175g
Vanilla Kush....169g
Ayahuasca Purple....64g
Purple Punch....140g
Grand Total....548g or 19.3oz
Well that is officially my best result to date. I thought that the Purple Punch would have been the heaviest and put the Shishkaberry in third place. I love a shock result. It's late here so I'll do some nug pics tomorrow after work but for now here's the entire haul being divided for the family. Thanks for tuning into my journal it's been a great experience for me. Hope you've all had a good weekend. It's back to work for me tomorrow but there's only 3 weeks left then it's 3 weeks off. I'm getting excited now....

Here's my stash. I like mine broken down into roughly 30g's. I ran out of jars and need to get my Shishkaberry into something other than that bowl. I have more jars but they're in use with my previous grow. This has only happend once before lol....

Wow 19.3 oz nice goin prof I like surprise endings and the way you described the Purple Punch I thought she would take to top slot as far as weights go but a nice surprise that the shish pulled it off. Be some nice jars to smoke out of over the holidays!

Thanks N. The PP had a tough ride which is a shame but I will be having another go with that one. Basically I'm thinking about doing another multi strain, single pot grow but using the Barneys strains. This time I'll be doing 2 pots with 10 in each though. Depending on what happens I might do that after the current 2 finish up
thanks HH. I'm very pleased with this round as everything just worked. All the problems that we had in the soil tent were minimal and easy to deal with. The Purple Punch made it lol. I thought we were going to lose her a few times throughout the grow but she battled on til the end. She's gonna taste great if the smell is anything to go by
Thanks Al. No more harvests for me until well into the new year. Last year I got the timing out and ended up harvesting just before Christmas which meant that the buds didn't dry until just before the new year. No smoke and loads of extra work isn't something you need during the best holiday of the year lol. This year I'm putting my feet up for about five minutes before the kids make me get off my ass again
thank you Shed. Well what can I say. I'm a nice guy. Probably too nice sometimes. I've actually given them slightly more than I've left for myself though let's just say that my jars have some of the better nugs. There really wasn't a lot of flarf. I know you said that the lower stuff is just as potent as the tops but it still has bag appeal. Especially the Vanilla Kush. This is the difference between this grows finished product and the stuff from the 7 plant grow. The buds in this tent go all the way down and are solid the the touch. The blurple lights in the other tent made decent tops but after that the buds become more and more spongy as they go down the stem. That's why I'm going to try the multiple plants in a single pot thing again but under better lighting and with MegaCrop.
About the jars. You're right. I am out of jars but the one that have the other stuff in are so low that it looks like they're empty. I just don't want to mix all the strains together lol

Fantastic yield P, it looks super high quality. Very nice work. If you’ve got overspill grab some turkey roasting bags they really do work a treat.
I found that turkey roasting bags aren't as airtight as I thought. I have two bags of Candida, well-sealed, and the RH in them fluctuates with the ambient humidity. Slowly for sure, but definitely shifting.
No they are not, and if you forget about them you can be down to 50-55% before you know it. It does help if you keep them sealed in a bucket but burping takes a bit longer if the lids are the snap on type.

That’s interesting Shed. I’ve retired my jars as I’ve found the bags easier. I’ve not checked RH over a period of time though and I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on that now. If I do go back to the jars I still think I’d use the turkey bags for say the first 4 weeks of cure as i find it better for handling the weed and getting a good air exchange. I’ve got thick gage plastic and a heat sealer which I use to bag up fish bait i sale. That’s definitely makes air tight bags so I might give that a go for long term storage.

I ordered pineapple express #2 G13Labs brcause there more indica genes in it, you have any experience with this strain bro?

I’m not sure which Pineapple Express from G13 I’m running at the moment but I’d definitely say it was indica dominant.

Thank you Pete. Apologies for the late reply. I've been on a short break with this thread to try and get a grip on reality once more. I've decided that it's impossible so I'm back.
The Pineapple Express from G13 Labs is Big Bud x Hawaiian and the Pineapple Express #2 is their Pineapple Express x Skunk. I'm growing the same PE as Lew at the moment and mine is also very indica dominant. Coincidentally Lew and myself have both just received a PE #2 as a freebie. It'll be a little while before I pop mine though. I've got some pheno hunting to do first
Hope everyone's been well. I'm officially back now and will drop an update later today. I expect people are wondering how the Tropicanna Banana and the Dos Si Dos 33 are doing by now. Well they're still alive and looking good after a rough start. Both strains are available to buy now if anyone is interested. Back later with an update
