Bag Seed 12/12 From The Start

Water slowly and listen to the fresh air being drawn in for your roots.
Wait about a half hour before giving the second 1/4 liter.
I use a full liter to water. The soil is still wet from yesterday’s feeding. So should I still water with some now? I don’t want to overwater. And I seriously appreciate all the help and guidance.

The top of my soil seemed a little cakey, so I just lightly scratched the surface to allow better drainage and air. It’s still saturated from yesterday. So treat with epsom salt solution and then next feeding half liter epsom salt water and half nute mix? Separately? I just want to do this right and not fuck up my girl.

no just fill a large bowl with water, wet something like a thin towel.. put it in the bowl and drape the other end over the edge of the pot. Refill with water as needed.

You could also spray the walls if you have a tent.
I got that part covered. I’m talking about using gypsum powder along with epsom salt in a pinch to substitute for Cal-Mag.

that I don't know. I made mine out of toasted egg shells and vinegar, but it takes 20days to steep.
is your area getting mail again? amazon may have 2 day shipping to get some. maybe a member lives close to you and has some?

boil a large pot of water on the stove too, to get the house humidified.
My room is on the other side of the house from the kitchen so boiling water wouldn’t help. I have a bowl of water as you suggested in front of my intake vent. I also draped a black T-shirt over it so it isolates where the water goes as it evaporates.

Trying to get a little humidity in there. Hoping this helps.

I meant to tell you Epsom salt is not salt/sodium. it is safe to use, so no need to go light on it.
Gypsum has to be mixed in the soil so I assume it is slower acting?

Epsom salts have many benefits for the body since they help draw toxins, sedate the nervous system and soothe and soften feet. Besides being beneficial for your health and beauty, Epsom salts are also beneficial in your garden. Epsom salts, or magnesium sulfate, help make plants bushier, help produce more flowers, increase the production of chlorophyll and help seeds to germinate. Used as a fertilizer, Epsom salts help absorb phosphorous and nitrogen. Epsom salt is also a source of calcium, and will help restore the calcium in your plants and soil.

I watered yesterday with my normal nutrients, so today when I used the epsom salt I diluted 1/2 tsp in 1L of water and just gave her about a third of it to get the magnesium in the roots as suggested by FelipeBlu. Then I’ll go with the half and half for the next feeding in a few days. Then if she looks to be recovering a little by the next feeding I’ll just do a straight water with another 1/2 tsp in the liter as a kind of flush. Hopefully that helps

Gypsum powder for Ca?

No, sorry - not for first aid. Gypsum (calcium sulfate), along with any other soil amendment like it, must be mixed into your soil and “cooked” for at least 30 days before planting.

Epsom salt is also a source of calcium, and will help restore the calcium in your plants and soil.

I don’t know where this information came from, but Epsom salt is magnesium sulfate - no calcium present.

Ideally, you will be able to get some CalMag by the next feeding. There really is no better substitute for your current situation. Adding a separate dose of Epsom is just a temporary stopgap solution.
