Thanks bro! Really means a lot! :thanks:

I hope your right with that tweed seed!:slide:

Molasses works last month of flower. It's like a sports drink.
I tried that and was wondering if that's what attracted all the aphids - Holy cow!!! - they went nuts!!!! And I really tried to stay ahead of them!!!

It may have... I dont know. I never had a problem with it. Were they going after the plant or the soil? If they were all over the plant and not the soil I would say it was just a coincidence. How much did you add to the plant ( in total)?

I'm not sure - I put a tablespoon in a gallon and watered them about every second day - I used the best part of those 2 pint containers. I did have aphids before molasses and they probably just got ahead of me in a biiiiiiig way!! You might know, I had an infestation of the Asian Ladybugs every year before I tried weed and did too good of a job cleaning them up the fall before!!! Murphy's Law!!

What a bummer. It doesnt take a whole lot of molasses. A tablespoon in a gallon is a good number, but I only do it twice... once at the start of the PK booster and once when I finish the booster, so a jug at about 3 weeks into flower and a couple weeks from the finish. These numbers aren't written in stone. And dont ever use molasses in hydro. Molasses only works its magic in soil. Murphy was a farmer, for sure. I hope it all works out for you

Hey man congrats on the kiddo!
Shit! I forgot a couple posts... thanks bro! Means a lot! :circle-of-love:
and thanks for popping your head in! Good to see ya!!

I keep trying to think of ways you could do the reveal. I’m sure you’ll think of something super clever!
Thanks silverfox! Keep thinking! Two brains are better then one! Lol

It is generally true that when aphids attack a plant in sufficient numbers for you to begin to see damage, then chances are it was already unhappy and experiencing some degree of stress BEFORE the aphids appeared. Pest insects tend to target weakened plants that are struggling and lack vigor for some reason. Researchers are examining the effects on insects of glutathione, a chemical produced by stressed plants, and they have found that glutathione is actually beneficial for certain pest insects. It aids their reproduction, growth, and may even bolster their ability to resist pesticides. So the plant’s misfortune is an aphid’s good fortune.

Because of this phenomenon it is important to try to figure out the source of the affected plant’s stress that made it vulnerable to pest attack. Some causes of plant stress include:
· Lack of sufficient sunlight or water (or, too much water causing soggy soil)
· Inappropriate plants for the climate or local conditions
· Excessive use of nitrogen-rich fertilizer, which encourages too much tender, leafy plant growth.
· Drastic pruning of trees or shrubs, which stimulates growth of succulent suckers (side shoots)
· Use of pesticides against other pests which also kills off the aphids’ natural predators and parasites
· Transplanting shock which stresses plants vulnerable for a few days to a week.
· A temporary springtime population explosion of aphids prior to the emergence of their natural predator insects such as ladybugs.

Update:

Mega crop was delivered to my door step yesterday. They were spoiled today with their first feeding of Mega Crop! :yahoo:

first off I’m going to start out with the temps of my tent since they were moved to the Big leagues!

When I opened the tent it was
22C and 28%RH
A high of 28.1C and 59%
A low of 17.5C and 22%

I haven’t turned on my fan/carbon air filter yet. It’s just so damn loud! I’m enjoying the peace and quiet! :Namaste:

Ive got some before and after photos of all three plants!

I’ll start off with The Sour Jack, before photos.

I had this bright idea on changing the size, colour and font for every update... now I constantly have to change it back to the colour, size and font I want almost every couple paragraphs/ and or pictures. What a pain in the ass!

Now for the After Photos.

Here is a small video of the Sour Jack I got as well!

After I changed the colour, size and font before the video, and again after the video. I will get on with the Green Crack Before photos.

Now for the After photos.

And another small video of the GC.

Now for the Tweed seed before photos.

The After photos!

I also got some other photos, that I will post....... right now!

The clone is doing well still. No visible growth, but she’s still standing! Tomorrow I’m going to pull it out and see if there’s any roots starting yet! The three plants were starting to droop, so they were beyond thirsty!

That pretty much sums up this update. Thank you all! Have your self a great night! A better tomorrow, and a legendary weekend! :ciao:
