Hey BID, just caught up with all your journal and everything. Bummer that the harvest got seeded and didn't provide you with your much needed meds... bummer man :( I've postponed my seed project as well for fear of the same happening, since it all would be done in different tents within 20' of each other, I'm scarred that the pollen might get all over.

Question for ya... if the plants are still in veg, can the get pollenated on accident, or is it only after your put them in flowering?

Man, that sucks that the Intelligent Gro panels went out on you and you didn't see their full potential, but so awesome of Dave to send you replacements, especially to fit your needs :) Thats pretty awesome of him, and upgraded to the Gen 2!! even better!

I hope that you can find some meds for yourself soon, I know what its like to be without!! anyhow just stoppin in to say hey, and I hope that things get better for you and you find some good meds. I also can't wait to see your new grow with the gen2 panels... so far my plants are growing really well under them :)

if your girls are in veg pollination is not possible, i men i guess pre-flowers that have pistils might be able to seed but im not sure if thats possible hormone-wise,, buyt even if so it would be only 1 seed per pistil,, now if the plant is covered in pollen and you start flower i suppose some pollinating could happen if the pollen is still viable, im not super strict about my pollen contamination prevention in this case i was on the other side of the room getting the gdp dude out to harvest his man dust and as i was going to my desk i tripped and bumped his pot a good whack and a giant cloud (think cloud chaser vape cloud) became airborne and as i was running to get my water mister i saw the cloud get sucked into the vent on the side of the tent WOOSSHHH-pOP!!! and i knew then that it was likely every pistil in the tent was having sexy time lol luckily the grape13 was not flowering as fast and had a few pistils and so only a very few seeds in her but my very mature very fast blue dream was knocked up big time !! i think you will be fine if you are careful
keep a sprayer full of water handy, mist plants down after letting the pollen take for an hour or so, you should be good to go, this is the first time i have had a fu=- up like this, and i make seed almost every run! oh make sure all fans are off during the procedures and not back on till you have misted all plants and let the water kill off any loose pollen i have posted my whole method a few times in my and others journals i will see if i can find it and repost it for you,
yup this is my second crappy harvest every bit of the blue dream is gone as of yesterday lol im hoping the grape13 and gsc are deceptively heavy lol last 2 for another 6-8 weeks OUCHKABIBILE!!!
 
Sorry to hear about your troubles my friend! I hope you get some good meds of your others. Oh in personal news I finally got my LED going :) :) (about time I know lol)

thanks guys i have some real beauties in veg for the next journal and some big changes too, its gonna be my best ever i can feel it in me bones!

LA its about time you got your l.o.g. (light of gawd) going i cant wait to see i got great results with mine,it will be in play again soon:rocker:

wanted to let everyone know ups dropped of a box today from dave, um make sure you give him the name you want things shipped to because this box is addressed to "bigirishdude" not a concern for me but i could see how for some of us that could be a huge concern, or anonymity, and not wanting our 420 mag handle connected our real names & addresses
ok i will be back later on with some pics o the unboxing and lights and some of the last 2 girls soon to be cut down, i think adding the 400hps has helped with bulking a bit , the grape13 is looking really nice at this point, ok be back in a few hours :rocker:
 
At least bigirishdude is pretty generic...be glad your name wasn't cannabisgrowerextraordinaire...that might have piqued the delivery drones' interest...
 
Well I am glad this went from a dark day and throw in the towel to a hopeful and upbeat grow with lots of prospect!

well buck theres lots of dark days, but i cant give up ppl depend on me but things are looking up, i havee to harvest the grape 13 and then write a review and then this one is closed and a new journal is on the way:rocker:

ok got some pics first the last girl she will be chopped soon this weekend most likely
and the the replacement lights for the ones that had issues that i reported earlier i agreed to trade the 2 larger ones i had for 4 o the smaller updated lights, it works out to 1 cluster module less than i had but is more versatile im dedicating one light and controller to the aerocloner, the other 3 will be used in support roles and smaller breeding protests etc
overall in content with how the warranty worked out and as ar as the lights go im kinda middle of the road, with the cobs burning out and some pollinating happening i think i did not see the best the lights can do, things would have worked out better had those problems not happened, i will continue using them and let you know how they are doing over time, i do think the prices like so many other led lights are quite steep, so at this point and this rating is subject to change in the future , for my personal experience i give them a 5 out o a possible 10 hopefully i can change that to a higher number down the road, in any case i will let you all know, and at any point you want to know just ask and i will share my opinion at that time, ok heres some pics

well guys thats it, i will be happy to answer questions, and there will be one more post about the grape 13 and gsc when i have weights and pics, final thoughts about this grow etc, and of course regular conversation in between.
