Build our own "green" power generators... I'm researching it now for when we get a house. I want the electric company to pay ME for a change.

Yeah I agree chemd is some strong stuff!!! I was to high to reply last night (celebration in the city, we're goin to the ws). It's all about tlc, with food you can tell if the person cooking your meal takes pride in what he/she does, by how it looks, how it smells, then how it tastes (years as an executive chef gives me the right to say that by the way, I've fired ppl for not taking pride in what they do). Same goes with our plant, looks/smell/taste all pride dependent. As we can see in the pic's BID takes a ton of pride in his grow, his plants are all always stellar, can only imagine how they smell and taste, and is why I had to go out and get some chemd, looking at the pic and reading how it reeks. I needed to taste some, that taste is so, so addictive.

nice you know im all over those kinds of ideas, i promise you guys this, if i ever invent/discover a grreen energy souece or any other changing solution im sharing it here with all of you first! this forum full ppl i love and know better than any of my neighbors hell i can even say that about some friends and family, with our screen names we can speak honestly no pretense , but thats something i decided long ago, i would give any invention i make thats got that life altering element ,comes here before the mib's come haul me away lol:high-five::thumb:

an amateur chef in my own right i always cook with pride passion and love, never thinking that theres any reason i cant create,or recreate any dish, i have a discerning pallate and have said many times i should have been some form of taste/smell/sound tester,im really good at picking out all the different components in food, smells etc, i hope it was good my perceptive friend! i had just a little to much chemd last night i was ,high and cleaning,laughing and happy, i had spiffy in stiches! hey sweetie? "gritty bar?"!! "sand daddy" :rofl:

Tasted the chemdog last night... I may not like the smell BUT it is great smoke. :smokin2:

so spiffy and i were parusing the big tent today chemdog is ready, lots of amber now, and shes falling over losing all her leaves she tells me im done papa im ready to give myself to the med cabinet! i love her so much a reveg may be in order in fact it is decided i will since i dont have any clones or pure seeds just crosses with purple, i cant let go of these genetics i think its my favorite strain of all time!, i wiil reveg ,clone and make fem seed this may even be the 2nd prong of my main breeding program along side trailor trash
also noteworthy we noticed that ttkush is budding massively its going to be a yield surprise i am pretty sure and the smell is crazy right now it has this fresh ocean breeze type air freshener or really bright floral fabric softener, in no way a cannabis smell!
im hoping its not a jem pheno and should have taken clones, im going to backcross it to rpk dad, but hopefully this smell part of ttkush pops up again seriously you guys would flip at the uniqueness of this aroma 1 of a kind!
also i noticed the auto crosses i made (blue caramel,super blue auto diesel ) are starting to show colors blues reds and purple i decided to let them go awhile so these crazy colors can develop further, well gang im off to go harvest chemdog / god!! i want to make a cd cross called chemgod or dogGod:thumb:

I know that smell and it is insanely good - my deadhead OG had the Chemdog smell bigtime. The taste gets old to me after a while, and I need a break from it now and then, but I sure like that smell, especially right after harvest! :yummy:

ok chemdog is done we trimmed for a couple hours spiffy looked like she was gonna barf half the time! lol :rofl: wet weight 11oz the clone was not as dense but only lost 60% so im expecting it to be 4 to 5 oz dry,but we shall see in a few days the divine stink and beauty of this plant is amazing to me ,i do wish i had controlled stretch instead of letting it go because i had just starting using the tall tent and felt like letting them get tall for once,lesson learned, although there was really no popcorn bud to speak of ,all of it was solid and chunky, i left the lower part of her to reveg, i flushed her and top dressed with wormcastings ,mushroom compost,azomite and gypsum mixture along with some bpn organic grow, and stuck her in with the clones under 24 hours of daylight cfl,prolly tave a few weeks for her to turn around,shes in a smart pot so no worries about being pot bound , the last one i revegged took a few weeks to reveg but exploded with new leaves ,same top dressing and lights, but much less starting foliage, that was b.o.b. for those that remember i just revegged long enough to get some good clones,but chemdog i will be doing a fem seed thing when shes ready ,oh and the first to get roots in the cloner is my blue cheese! they popped 2 days ago and it looks like ill get 100 % this run, funny i stuck a couple clones in some leftover root plugs just to see,well they are rooting much faster and much more than aero alone! so plugs are faster, i just have them sitting in the net pots just not in hydroton,,ok ppl time for the pics

wondering if something like this can be used for a small grow room?

$2200 for one modest panel and control/battery? Sure, you can use it as a supplement. How many daily kwh do you think you'll get? Battery can discharge @ 1800 watts, for half hour or what? This thing is presented like some kind of perpetual motion machine, but I know that there is no such thing as a 'free' lunch.

well i never trust the products that are advertized in that website style and use fear as a selling point not cool, however the concept of using solar is totaly awesome! and i have been researching how to build my own, see the high cost is mainly due to the labor intensive building of the panels, if you build your own its 60-75% cheaper, im planning on building my own once i have enough info and find the best place to buy the parts, im pretty good with a soldering iron!

Glancing over to GoGreenSolar.com, seems that $20k may buy components for a modest 6kw while the sun is shining, with enough battery for night lights and computer power. Wire, control, inverters, and brains to coordinate & assemble would be extra.
Advertising always disguises inconvenient facts as pluses; you gotta read it with a jaundiced squinty eye :hmmmm:

this is true mr gator, i figure if i build a panel a month and save for batteries ,inverter etc. in a year or two i can fire it up maybe less if i only mean to power the grow and a few essentials, that would be nifty to eliminate the cost to convert sun to fake sun lol

for documentation: 5 gallons tap water in bucket,with airstone,and tiny sub pump for circulation, add 1tsp root magic mycos,50 ml fp grow,50ml micro,100ml bloom,25ml dark matter,25ml bio juice,25ml k bud,50ml seaweed,2tbps black strap, 1 cup worm gold, 1 tbps azomite , bubble 48 hours
