today i sent the exhaust and humidifier back to grow shop. hope they send it back quickly. after i removed the exhaust , i tested it without the filter and it wasn't blowing at all. nothing. I am sure that i have been without exhaust for about 2 weeks. The big fan and openings of tent helped avoid suffocation of plants.

Looks good bill, and yea it would be nice to get your exhaust back most Rikki Tikk

thnx mate. i'm trying really hard to keep conditions normal without the exhaust hope they send it back fast.

i also found out what probably broke down the exhaust.
When i unplugged it, i saw a lot of white dust inside the fan. A LOT OF IT. a powder like Ca. So i think it was the Ca from the tap water i used for the humidifier since day 1. And that makes me think, if this air flowing Ca helped somehow not to face Ca deficiency so far.

Could that be the case, or i have it all wrong?:volcano-smiley:
Can the plant absorb Ca from tap water cool mist, through its leaves?

hmmm so it glocked all up from Ca thats a first for me. I thought most of the Ca would bind to the heating device in the humitifier like in a waterboiler actually.

I don't think it actually prevent any def. in the plant using Ca and Mg heavy water in a humidifier. there is something about calsium and magnesium molecyles in tap water are too big or something to be utilized by plants in there current form.

here is some reading on it. at least the Ca and Mg in tapwater can not fully be utilized by the plants do to this.

"Calcium and magnesium are also the most abundant minerals in tap water. The majority of the PPM, or EC reading, you obtain from a measuring device is cal-mag. The most typical form of these minerals in your untreated water is calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate. Unfortunately, contrary to popular belief, these forms are virtually unusable by plants, especially fast growing plants. The molecules of these compounds are far too large and immobile to be absorbed by the roots and transported to where the plant needs them. Relying on the cal-mag in tap water can lead to many problems which we will discuss later in this article."

I think the reason they look so healthy are more that you are taking really good care of them and feeding them like a champ :)

i just realized that in other pages of this journal, might have referred to Ca as CL.

*Lol* yeah i also jump the wagon in the last post calling it Cl chlorine for a sec. *LOL* i did'nt even notice you wrote CL before i posted it and went true it for errors.

And i even memories the hole periodic table and i did'nt notice before you did *LMAO* just came to the conclusion memorising that hole chart was a massive waste of time.

Yea bill, looking great man. To think you was worried no one would check out your journal lol. It exploded. Great work +reps bub

thnx mate. yea it seems there are people interested, i hope the journal will help others. i still dont know how to give rep. lol:cheertwo:

today i watered the big girls with increased basic nutes, just came back from work so update of waterings in a few hours maybe with pics too.

oh one more thing. in first pages of journal i posted about a big bang ''Life'' that she was going to be a small bang. Its the same one i was afraid of becoming a Hermes a few days before. Well she has exploded in growth the last 3 or 4 days. So i guess she was just taking her time. She will be a BIG BANG after all:circle-of-love:
