Auto Topping Thread

here's my weekly update. Day 52 and 47. The buds are coming in nicely, the yellowing was concerning me but I figured it was just eating up all the nitrogen because it's in rapid flower mode, so I'm not going to worry about it anymore. Look at the base of my stalks, they have growth there also.

The top pic looks a bit like the "K" pic here. Maybe a potassium deficiency.

I think it may be just the lighting but they all start out looking like that then turn yellow like the ones in the pic. Not sure what to do cept for to leave it alone?

Because all the leaves that end up falling off or me plucking end up looking exactly like the leaf that's next to the nitrogen def pic.

Mixed it in with my normal feeding of regular water with only the aid of added calmag. Looking at my regular pheno that's in the same soil and fed the same amount of food, their leaves look awesome in lush green!!!

I usually flush 3:1. With my 3gallon fabric pots, I will run 9 gallons with the last 1/2 gallon being the light calmag mix. I usually start very slowly. I add a very small amount, maybe 16 oz right around the stalk in a tight circle, let stand maybe 3-5 minutes then hit that spot again, then let stand. Then slowly work my way out to the edge of the pot with the entire first gallon. You need to soak all of the soil and this is a good way to do it. then I start pouring more quickly. I fill the pot, wait a few second to drain and then keep pouring.

I don't worry about the ph when I flush, only the last 1/2 gallon, which I ph to 6.5

I have a flush I need to do tomorrow as well.

60 days old now, topped plant will have lots of tops while the untopped one is going to have a pop bottle sized main cola. Smelled like tootsie pops last week, now they have a citrus smell. Not sure how to fix the sideways pics sorry.

I'm going to say the topped one will, but it's hard to say since they put on noticeable weight every day. I've got one that is topped and 2 that aren't.

Next batch is about 20days old and 2 are topped while one isn't.

Probably be another 2-3 weeks before I think about cutting them down, red hairs started a few days ago.

When you can't decide on whether to use HPS or LED..... 1000hps parabolics up top and roughly 1000w draw on LED...am I crazy or am I wasting lighting on the side? *shrugs*
