Auto Thai Fantasy and Musshy - Coco LED

Re: Auto thai fantasy and musshy (coco led)

Looking good Musshy ! m subbed for this one :peace::popcorn:

hiya g-daddy,

yeah it probably won't be the most exciting journal. I plan to update every week or so.

now bonza claims that this is an auto flower. it sure is growing slow for an auto. im kinda of hoping its not auto, so I can clone her.
even if it is an auto, I don't see there being any chance of this grow going under nine weeks. she seems to have just started growing and im a month into it hahaha. but regardless, I will grow her out because I really want to smoke a good thai again. its been close to thirty years since I have.

thanks for tagging along!

Re: Auto thai fantasy and musshy (coco led)

Never done auto before so maybe I will learn something.:peace:

my first auto also. I wasn't really expecting it in the first place, so it will be fun to try it.
spent about two hours in my flowering area today. doing a good cleaning and getting ready to move the next "contestants" into their new area. I figure I got two more weeks at the most with my current mature flower. a clone of her to the right. I am amazed at how these clones grow. it was so small when I plucked it from the mother.....now she sits just a tad shorter. amazing.

this is where Margaret Cho is going when she is ready.....
leds_-_Copy.jpg

current led set up is,
two kessil h350 magenta and a 700w mars II.
I also have four 100w panels hanging on the sides.
I really cant say enough about this mars II.
an affordable product, that's also high quality.

Re: Auto thai fantasy and musshy (coco led)

Dope LED set up. Your little thai is lookin awesome. This obviously is not your first rodeo. Lol.
Subbed.

haha my rodeo started in sept of 2013. not very long ago. I grew male plants for my first two months. by the time I finally got a female, I was hooked on this site. I kept finding answers to all my questions. I started buying nutes and lights. it wasn't long before I had a good idea of what would work. I really owe it all to these people here. they researched for me hahahaha.
thanks 420!

Margaret Cho is going to be a beauty!

thanks for tagging along!

Your setup looks sweet! I would love to upgrade to LED just can't swing it right now, but have been doing some checking around and will look at the mars II. Keep em green!:peace:

Re: Auto thai fantasy and musshy (coco led)

I have an early Margaret Cho update.
due to unforeseen inspiration (thanks c526!) I have had to move Miss Cho under the led.
it shouldn't really be an issue for her to be under 12/12 now. from what I have been reading, people have been getting good grows frow 12/12 seed/harvest. now more of an reason why. I ran out of room. I showed c526 a picture of my top feeder and he suggested that I check wally world for a heavy duty tub. his made so much sense. after having 10 dwc buckets laying around, I might as well put them to work. his suggestion was perfect, but it was larger than expected.....

it has already fed twice today. look at how clean that top is. no residue at all! great idea.

so here is Maragret under her new sun.

ms_cho_-_Copy.jpg

I noticed a tad of yellowing at the tip of one of her larger leaves. a deficiency! up until now she has only had molasses and a few drops of coffee extract with water ph'd to 5.8. she would also get a taste of bene tea once a week. today she was given her first real taste of nutes.
here is what she is getting:

nutes_-_Copy.jpg

3/4 tsp Grow More Micro
1/2 tsp foxfarm grow big
1/4 tsp humbolt county darky energy
1 tsp botanicare aquashield
1 tsp botanicare cal / mag
1 tsp plantation blackstrap unsulphured molasses
and three drops of coffee extract, cus that's how I roll.

in a gallon of water ph'd to 5.8

lets see what she does.

Re: Auto thai fantasy and musshy (coco led)

Dude those fatty nugs are looking good under the LED. How close to harvest? Let me know how they smoke. I'm saving up for an LED panel

that is my second flowering plant ever. she looks like she might give an ounce or more, I don't know, I don't own a scale. its my personal smoke. usually my bought zips almost fill a ball jar. I think she will fill three jars when she is dry.
she is on week six and she really seems to be gaining weight now. I put some sugar leaf from her under the micro-scope yesterday. all clear. she is mostly sativa from the looks. im guessing she will go close to 10 weeks.
but she smells wonderful and she glistens with trics and I am very proud of her. I cant wait for harvest and to mix some canna butter with the leaf and popcorn.

growing is so much fun!

High ya musshy, your are correct on growing being much fun,I love it. :thumb: I have done DWC,hempy buckets, soil with chemical fert, and now trying organic soil and I have enjoyed growing in each one of these. Learning is a lifelong experience and I want to enjoy them all. Keep up your good work!:peace:

Re: Auto thai fantasy and musshy (coco led)

so........ I had two cuttings that I rooted and put into solo cups to sex.
things went well, they proved my hard work was a female. I let them continue to flower in their solo cups.
today I chopped them up.

Margaret is gonna be sweet! she is looking very healthy. she is showing me 11 finger leaves.
I have not touched her at all. no trimming or topping what so ever. she is el natural.

SpitFire Haze is what I have named my bag seed plant.
she is teaching me patience hahahaha.
so peppery and spicey.

on a side note, I had a air stone clogging scenario and lost two clones. luckily I caught it before it affected my flowering plants, although it almost got one of them. live and learn.
my top feeders are looking so nice. they are making life easy.
here is my pineapple chunk topped one time.
