Yeah cant complain like. The 2 on just now are in an nft res with their own 250w led so they should hopefully end up about 3 each. Stunted them for 2 weeks due to transplanting error so theyre half the size they should be but doing alright.3oz isn’t bad at all
Yeah i used to like doing the monsters but its just too much work. Ive only got a 20l res and the bigger systems dont fit up my hatch. They can drink upto 15l a day and my pump will blow around the 2l mark so if i miss a day im screwed. Just too much pissin about man. Much easier growing half a dozen smaller ones.I’ve grown a couple of big ones.
Im doing some 12/12 autos at the moment. Its going well so far, should get a few oz each by the look of it. Ill get some pics up tomorrow when im up . Got a glueberry og and a zamnezia haze.
My last harvest. 19oz off 4 autos. Fastbuds Gorilla Glue and Girl Scout Cookies.
Current grow, Day 28. Fastbuds Blue Dream'matic (front left and back), Girl Scout Cookie (front right).
Light is DIY Bridgelux strips. 300 watts, 3500k. My own soil-less mix (similar to Pro-Mix HP), Mega Crop nutes plus Gro-Tek Pro Silicate.
Good jesus man that first pic of the gorilla and the cookies was insane. Those are some huge ass buds congrats. What kinda lights did u use for those or was it the same as the ones mentioned above? Also this round of girls is really taking off congrats.
Same light. Built it last year to replace 4 of the old style Mars 300's (aka blurples). Best investment I've made. Ever since the yields have gone way up, and it draws about half the juice of the old combo.
Nice that's what I thought when I got my first quantum board lol. I paid $150 usd for a little single board. And it covers about the same amount of space as my dwarf star from perfect sun. An as for quality it pretty close they both make fat dense frosty ass buds. Only thing i noticed is the plants under the QB did have more side branching going on versus the dwarf star. But that could be the strain tho I guess. But the big factor for me was the dwarf star ran me bout 500$ usd each and the QB was only 150$ usd. So yea no brainer right lol. The main reason I waited so long to try a QB light is cause I didnt think I new enough to set them up an figured it wuda been alot harder then plugging in 4 wires lmao. Once I got it an set it up for days afterward was kickn my self in the ass. I was like OMG look how much money I've wasted getting these ridiculously expensive lights lol. I could have been having great big grows and great harvests if I woulda jus got these from the start lol. Oh well that's life I spose it's all just a big learning game. An I intend to experience all that I can in life so that jus means I get to learn that much more lol.
Oh I forgot to ask if u dnt mind u dnt gotta tell me if u dnt wana. But how much was ur light setup and what does it cover for a footprint in veg an flower?
I got about $400 in it. You could do it with U channel aluminum rather than the fancy heat sinks I used and save a little. They run quite cool. The build is supposed to cover 3'x3' but I have it in a 32"x32" tent (9 sq/ft vs 7 sq/ft). Close enough, and a little over powered is better than underpowered.
Not bad man an yea for sure I totally agree with you there more light the better lol.
You can always dial it down or raise it to get the lux/par you want on your plants at various stages. Having too little, you don't have many options.
