Auto Growers Unite: A Community Thread

Greetings fellow growers,
I am nurturing my first auto - a Dutch Passion Blueberry. She's a bit over 8 weeks from germination and showed first flowers on 10/16 (~6 weeks ago). Lighting has been 18/6, but since my wife didn't want me to run the lights while we are out of town (family emergency), I had to take her out of the tent and put her in a window for the past week, so she's only getting ~10 hours of indirect light. I installed 4 Blumat Jrs with a total of 2 gallons of pH-adjusted water to tide her over (I had previously been subjecting her to a strict wet-dry cycle by weighing the pot). So, given the lower temps (~60F in house vs ~78F in tent), I am hoping that she hasn't gotten too dry.

I am heading home tomorrow. What can I expect?

Thanks in advance, FelipeBlu

Wow, thanks for the fast reply PT! Yes, it's been a week (we left last Sunday). She's in a 5 gallon smart pot (fabric) and was drinking about a gallon every 3 days in the tent. So I am hopeful about that aspect. I'm more concerned about the changes to lighting and temp with respect to overall health/yield. And if it's enough stress to cause a hermie.

Don't have any photos with me, but will post a few when I get back home. Hoping for some colors due to the cooler temps. But you probably shouldn't base any possible performance on my results. This is the second time we had to leave town for a week during this grow. The first was when she was only 2 weeks old. That week without good lighting probably stunted her big time. What are you going to do? Family comes first.

Main cola on my Fast Buds Girl Scout Cookie, she is a monster, considering the plant never made it to more than 80cm, she was covered in buds, I have been trimming her back and the main cola is getting fatter and fatter

LOL - just walked in the front door. The whole house smells kinda like a skunk ate a blueberry muffin and then farted. My little lady looks fine. Will check her thoroughly tomorrow for any hermie signs.
Good night.

Thanks! Don't see any male parts (balls or bananas). Just some huge calyxes (2-3mm across). She's nicely frosted, but not much change in color. I was hoping for some blue tints.

Tbh, the blueberry fragrance is very subtle/muted. My wife said it smells like we have a cat (pee). I reminded her that the smell would have been controlled in the tent. That earned me the 'look'.

I'm new here, so as soon as I figure out how to post photos, I'll share. Gotta go get some groceries first.

The temp and RH showing in the first photo were the minimums over the last week. The max temp and RH were 66 and 60, respectively. Any visible leaf damage (white spots) are scars from a brief thrip attack (knocked down with spinosad) when she was a wee lass.

btw i discovered my baby is getting a purple hue on some calyx

That looks killer bro! She’s frosty. Mine have virtually no frost in the tent, but had much more when grown outdoors! I guess overproducing resin to keep itself protected from moisture /humidity. Looking good bro!
