Auto Growers Unite: A Community Thread

Dude, we are all here to help or get help or else enter a dick waving contest :) so you don't have to thank me.

The plant in your pic certainly looks 100% fem so far (but can still piss you off later) so that's a good sign.

Though you say the seeds came from the same bag, that doesn't mean anything. It could be from a SOG or multiple plants where only one plant hermied and fertilised all the rest as well or it could also mean that they are all from the one parent and you somehow shot the moon by getting a 100% female; unless we grew it ourselves, seeds from bagweed are less than 100% reliable and anything the seller tells you must always be taken as apocryphal.

The only time I would ever think of using seeds from a hermie is when I know for a fact that it has pollinated another female and I'll use those. That way you are almost guaranteed a female.

I've been looking back at pics of the grow that these seeds came from. I had 12 plants going. 2 strains, both strains auto fem. seeds. They were grown in tent with leds and outside natural sun.

So if I cut that sac off, then it won't matter, it will grow more?

I can't tell you 100% that it will grow more, but I would bet the chances are high. I have seen people pluck nanas and go on to have successful harvests, but can't say I've ever seen a true hermie grow successfully by means of castration. My advice would be to cut your losses, but I would love for you to prove me too pessimistic. :thumb:

Did you notice any nanas or pollen sacs?
These plants are fiendishly good at trying to further their germ line. All it takes is one swaggy ball and ...

Question: did the seeds come from different plants and, if so, did you not separate and label them?

Dude I screwed the pooch from get go. My harvest got all mixed up. Buds all looked the same. Had to harvest 2-3 weeks early. Buds were light airy, out of 2 or so oz's , so far I've only found 7 seeds total. Also, I'm noticing a lot of what looks like under developed seed pods in my weed when I break it down to medicate.

sounds like a late flower nanner got the best of you

hey and 7 seeds in 2 oz ... thats just decent weed .. i found about 300-350 seeds in 17gr of crap bud once ... thats propper hermiemisery imo

i followed that grow ... never saw any problems occur.. like i said its probably a single banana herm that produced a few seeds around its position ... 7 seeds is nothing

Does anyone know what kind of burn or deficiencies this is so I can fix it ? I think it's magnesium being that's the only thing I haven't supplemented since it had been growing but it just started doing this .

Hard for me to see under the led like...but I am no expert either

Need you advise guys...

I am fighting for space really bad now. I have nowhere else to grow my King Tut but outside and the weather and temp is a lot different and colder than my tent.

My cheese plant is squished in a corner of the tent..she is a big bushy plant and the leaves along the edge are getting squat against the wall and getting no light and those bud sites are dying off because if it. Cheese is a photoperiod not autofkower.

My king tut is very close to harvest and I'm about ready to throw her out and cut my losses for gains with the cheese plant.

As my 1st grow I had no idea it would take up this much room.

The cheese plant is covering the buds in King Tut.. the branches of both plants are getting tangled up in each other.

Would it be worth my while to cut the king tut down now and use that extra space for the photo cheese?

Here are some shots so help

I have all the patience in the world but I just don't want to lose out on what cheese can pull off. I don't have a way to check trichromes of the plant..lota of red hairs going through..buds are not big where she is not complete..still filling out I think...not a whole lot of bid growth happening...seemes to have stopped the past 2 weeks.

King tut is currently week 8 of flower and is 90 days old

Here are a couple shots if the lower branches getting no help by being pushed in a corner of the tent..and I been rotating her to help her but it's not helping...

Here is a shot of cheese all alone in the tent. So much room. I have no idea how 2 plants are in there

Again if I have to cut my losses then so be it..my focus is on the photoperiod plant now. She was supposes to be autoflower but turned out not to be so it screwed things up for my plans.

Any help or advise here please?

Burned leaves were done by LED light being too low..its been corrected and never had the problem after..damahed leaves stay damaged...anyways that's not why I posted...

Thanks

Luxury problem? Not sure if that's good or bad..

The biggest is the cheese plant..she is a photoperiod and not an autoflower. She is early in flower and is the biggest. This is the reason for either cutting the autoflower early or putting outaide. The photoperiod is using up all my space and will give better yield than the autoflower so that's where my focus is now. Just lost on what I should do with the auto.

Was suggested by 2 people to move the autoflower outside. 1 said if I do to be sure not to get buds wet from rain...i have no way to prevent that without making anytjing too obvious to the 2 apartment buildings next to my back yard..and the kids in the area...so if I do she will go out as is.

My only concern is that the temps here drop to 5°C at times overnight...last night was 10°C. Big difference compared to my tent which is a controlled environment...with no bugs..another worry of mine.

As for lighting..she was started at 20/4..then switched to 12/12 for the photoperiod..and the outside light is 16/8 now so that will be a light change for her for the 3rd time.

As you can see from this photo I just took there is no room for the photoperiod to stretch out. She is pushed in the corner..leaves in the corner are getting no liggt and are drying up and dying off, branches are bent because she is pushes in the corner...and thenother plant is taking the opposite corner...both plants meet in the middle and buds are getting tangled with branches from the other plant..and the other plant blocks light from the buds being developed...it really sucks..was supposes to be 2 autos but feedback screwed up the seed and gave me a photoperiod instead.
