Hi guys you know i said i was clumsy well i am. I went andd checked on annie and she was still teaped in her shell so i thought i would give her A hand as she was still being shy. Well i gave thw shell a gentle pull like i normally do when this happens and guwss what? Yep i broke one off her leaves. This is first time to happen to me im sure she will be fine as her first true leaves wont be long to pop through. Heres a pic

I've had a few stick over the years & it is tricky to pop them off. If both sides of the shell are on, I use tweezers to prize it open & then gently flick up the other half whilst supporting the seedling with my other hand. It's always a bum clenching moment but I've never damaged one yet :)

I will try it with tweezers next time. Hopefully it wont be a next time.

You can also use Humic Acid as a wetting agent that is also beneficial to the cannabis plants root system.

You want pH 5.8 for hydroponic and soiless (peat moss and coco coir) and pH 6.5 for soil.

Here is a nutrient availability chart

Here is my soiless mixture

I use peat moss, perlite, vermiculite and mycorrhizae for my plants. I would mix your soiless mixture in a ratio of 60% peat moss, 20% perlite and 20% vermiculite. If you can get Pro-Mix HP you would only need to add 20% vermiculite and mycorrhizae. Vermiculite acts as a catalyst between nutrients and the plants roots as well as retaining moisture.

UPDATE

I will start off with the Purple Cheese she is at day 67, she is going o.k but still not ready yet to harvest. She smell soooooo gooood. She is starting to loose the colour in her leaves as her buds are getting a bit more dense and a bit bigger than last week. I do still wonder how much better she would have been if she never had the PH issues for her whole grow. It is just a waiting game now as to when she will be ready to harvest.
Next is the poor AKR at day 27 she is so small and i never had a auto so small and into flower and since i transplanted her she is stunned a bit as i also lost about a third of her roots while i transplanted her so i don't really have much hope of a large amount of bud off her, but then im also lucky that she is still alive. As i have now got her in some new soil and PH should be good on next feed i am going to add 1/2 strength cal/mag and 1/4 strength nutes, hopefully this will get her growing a bit better.
Last but not least is the new lady Annie, she is going good apart from the leaf and some stretching as i didn't have her close enough to the light, which she is now 22" from light and she seems to light that distance. Maybe on her next feed i will add 1/4 strength cal/mag or is she to young?
So i will leave you all with some pics i took off them about an hour ago while they were out of the tent while i gave it a hoover, i like to hoover the tent out once a week.

It depends on your calcium and magnesium supplement whether if it an be used for a small seedling. If your calcium and magnesium supplement is calcium nitrate based I would not give that to a seedling until 2 weeks of age. If your calcium and magnesium supplement is calcium carbonate based you can feed that to your seedling with pH adjusted water.

I have tried looking to see if it is nitrate or carbonate based. On the back of the bottle in the ingredients it says calcium oxide. O yer it is Plant Magic Plus magne-cal + that i got. Hope this helps a bit more and someone can help me a bit more
