The Gunslinger babies today. Ones a bit of a struggler down bottom left. One in the middle is my third Black Candy i had given up on and was going to toss out but it appeared today. Also hanging on by a thread.

I watched a great video blog thing a week or so ago that talked about all these fancy genetic strains today. Old school guys that have been around. They basically said MOST of whats out there being flogged now is Skunk 1 crossed with Afghani. Thats it. Just different phenos of those crosses and certain traits being developed. The odd haze or other landrace cross. It was an episode of "From Under The Seed Desk with Marijuana Man", couldnt find which episode. Just to back up my crazy claims lol.

So their "secret" is not much of a secret I imagine lol.

Mate, i reckon your spot on nearly. There is variation through selection which just makes it more colorful.

Looking really good there mate. Definetly got the 'Perpetual' thing tied down. I was thinking that I might put another 3 beans in as the 3 I have going now get towards the very end of their grow. Because they are Autos the light cycle will be the same for seedlings as for the big girls.
Really impressed with your selection, whats the best strain you have grown so far ?

The Delicious Candy is still the best overall. Pineapple Chunk best tasting. Golden Tiger probably the strongest head high. Think this BG may be very strong too from the little sample buds on the seed run. And the new Candy is super sweet like sugar cubes. Like them all.

At about 675ppm with the BG and will just stay there i think until flush time. Will be the standard from week 2 of flowering. Seems like a sweet spot. Flush her with 4 litres of water once a week before a feed.
Seedlings once they have there third set of leaves dont mind 450ppm alternated with plain water. Veg plants 450ppm every watering with a weekly flush. Seems to be keeping things happy for the moment so will stick to the program.

Thinking of shifting to some 120w super flat LED panels in the veg tents. Just not totally sure yet. They have about 1300 low watt leds so the plants can get right up on them without burning, but havent actually found anyone thats using them yet... only a $90 investemnt in 2 panels so it may be worth the risk to try them out. Definately feel i need more veg light moving forward.
