Dont know whats going on with my clones lately. 2 batches. Soon as they root in the rockwool cubes the tops get burn and distorted leaves. But once i plant them in perlite and water with the same nutes they come good. Must be a ph thing with the rockwool. Strange. Cant figure what im doing any different to my normal routine. Think i might throw togeather a low profile cloner and use that with cuffs. I do and always have hated rockwool. Only issue i have is seeds. Can wash all the peat pellet off, but might look at tiny net pots and just transplant the whole net cup into its final destination.
Will probably give one of the flowering tubs a modification and try a SWC hempy thing once the SK is done (probably sunday). Figure it cant hurt to try one and got no shortage of air pumps laying around.

Thinking of going back to one bigger plant per light with a combination of drain to waste hempy but with a big aerated res that can fill with unlimited roots like my old system. Basically is my old system but with drain to waste. So a drain to waste hempy SWC. Looking back its all about root mass for pulling the big buds. These hempys hit a limit and thats it. When i look back at the root mass that the PC formed in the first two weeka of flowering it would fill one of these hemp buckets compressed. Wont loose any headroom and still follow the same process as the henpys with watering. I know i change my mind a lot but i guess its just a learning thing. Will probably just run two main plants in the veg tent in smaller versions that can be transplanted smoothly. A candy amd rotate some other strains. Plus a few clones and seedlings as req.
Something like this... if it makes sense.

Will use tubs with lids this time to also block light and stop evaporation/humidity.

Yeah everytime i think ive settled i want more... i seem to do better focusing on less plants too. Only drawback is manicuring so much at once. .
I can clearly see a line between free roaming water culture and contained root systems tho. Want to make the most out of my lights and not getting it atm.

Candy mother that im now thinking of promoting to first plant if i go to the new system. Will have another (gulp) transplant yet and some veg.

This is whats happening when my clones spring roots in the cubes lately.

And they grow out of it about 1 1/2 weeka later, but a setback still.

Got that pale outer edge to the leaves too. Ph or light bleaching. I swear there is something im missing when using LED lights. Really determined to make it work tho, eventually. I never get these symptoms with other lights.

Part of the reason i want to try some in water culture so i can monitor exactly what they are getting.

Ok thought about it all day and first i am going to try a hempy with a bit more rs height and an airstone. See if i can squeeze a bit nore out of them. Will do a few of them and if still no good move on to the other. I need to rip out the SK so i will modify its hempy for my first trial. Still going to have a limit to its root mass, but maybe it will take in a bit more water and nutes. Raising the res height without air didnt work well at all, just drowned it. Will be interesting to compare it. Might just try make an air ring with some tube with holes punched in it. Probably less chance of clogging than air stones. Seeing it will be buried under perlite. Will try rig something up later after dinner and see if it looks feasable. Whole thing could be pointless but will never know if i dont give it a go.

This Las Vegas Triangle Kush is some damn sticky super smelling stuff. Cant stop sniffing it. Tho the whole house smells of it when i come home. Got a definate tang. The buds are forming up pretty nice too. Probably should grab a clone. But think i have more seed. Got to get over this keeping clones of everything. Just enjoy the moment and move on to the next. Already have 7-8 rooted clones of stuff since the new year...
But looking forward to this so much.

Need to do some sorting out of whats what. Think its time to pot the french cookies and 2 candy clones up with the few gunslinger males. Reckon i can hide them in the garden for seeds. Save going bush. Only have to be a foot tall.
That will free up a little room. Tho will be filled by more candy clones.
The two bodega bubblegums can go into 6" pots or something to sex out in the cupboard. That will let me set up some better veg system that i am not sure about yet as usual... doc holiday clone can go as its showing running colas. And see whats what after that.
