looking at a dulytek 7 ton, there £550 to me here, its either that or DIY one, car jack, press plates etc., but buying decent non chineese plates cost the same as a dulytek, seen some fire stories from these amazon ones at £300 and some seem fine, wats the difference? what can i get that is decent at 7 ton under £500?

The 8 ton model is on sale under 500.00. I did a review on the 4 ton, and I love it.

I'm in Canada as well and ran into issues as i wanted the 10 or 12 ton with a gauge but they weren't available in Canada so i was left with either an$1800 NS XP or settle for the 6 ton. I was skeptical (not going to lie) but after listening to my better half i pulled the trigger on the 6 ton (saving > $1200) and couldn't be happier with the unit. Now I've only been doing flower rosin atm with 6month old weed so I'm not sure how she'll handle love rosin when I harvest this summer ... at that point I'm going to try a THCA extraction using 25 micron bags and low temp/pressure but not 100% on how that will go without a gauge to keep pressure low and consistent.
