With that curl up like that it's definitely ph or nitrogen off or too much if I was you I would water next time as a flush at 6.0 ph and no nutes she is she bounces back when did you water last

I literally just flushed her before I posted so I'm waiting to see what happens she isn't getting any nutes my water goes in at around 6.4 but came out around 6.8 so I flushed until the water came out clear and runoff was at 6.2 hopefully that helps thanks for all of the help everyone.

Ok I got one. After harvest what's the easiest way to get the hay smell out and that skunk smell in?

It's all about how you dry your plant and cure in my experience once that smell is there you can't get rid of it have you harvested already

Hang dry til stem snap then destem them and jar them up and burp twice a day for 2 weeks minimum and then your terepenes will come out and the plant smell gone and the good smell is there

I let it hang to dry for a the steams to snap when I bend them.. Then I jar it with the 62% broveda packs and burp the jars for a week.. If the smell is still there.. Keep burping for another week. Its the chloryphorm that causes the grass smell. It needs to dry more. That's my findings..

It could be ph off or over watering, check run off after you NEED to water or get a soil ph meter off Ebay or local shop, my first guess is ph but I don't know what you water with could also be to much nitrogen did you feed her?

don't buy the cheap ones off ebay, they're a bit temperamental lol, theyre ok for back up kit, go for a essentials, bit more pricey but worth it in the long run

So I ordered some 2 inch Uni seals to install on a cooler that I plan on re-purposing as my reservoir for my RDWC system

But after looking into the cooler, I realize that it may be too thick for those seals, does anybody have any better suggestions? I want to use the cooler because I figured it would be better at regulating the temperature, but if I have to resort to some kind of thinner wall then I guess that's my only option???

I'm still learning rdwc myself as I plan to build my own set up, I wished I knew more to help you.

I found some bulkheads that I believe will work with the 3/4-1" thick cooler wall, just not uniseal which is what was recommended to me. It's ok, I will still be able to use the uniseals on my 5gal buckets, maybe use the spares to add a bucket into my system

Yea you could probably do that I'm sure it would work for you. At least I hope it will

This is such an awesome thread - it's great to get input from different people on things. Anyways, I have a question about my Narcotic Kush auto. It germinated on 1/24 and still hasnt started flowering. I topped it and gave it a good deal of lst - maybe I did too much. But I stopped the training when I thought I had gone too far. Now the plant looks kind of strange. It seems odd that it hasn't flowered after almost 10 weeks. Is it possible that I damaged it permanently and it won't flower? I guess the the only other thought I have is that it might be a male but I thought this was supposed to be ma feminized seed.

For some reason I cant see the pics but sometimes autos do that. It can just be the ruderalis gene is less prominent in it. If you switch you light schedule to 12/12 and treat it like a photo she should flower for ya

Did you order the "auto" seeds from Crop King Seeds by chance?

So I'm using air pots and I'm just watering by hand but I feel like I'm losing most of my mix through the holes. suggestions?

Thats not a bad thing really your plants will never experience stagnant water.

Like I was saying clear plants no air pots yes in the air pots the LG does not bloom and grow and create bad bacteria where it does in glass where it's magnified by the Sun and please please please somebody light a linio it's harvest day today for me

I like the "Macgyver" approach you're looking at.
Would you be removing the hinges to make it so the lid comes completely off? I always like to have easy access to my plants. Changing the res, topping it off, checking pH etc.

I use 5 gallon paint buckets, outside wrapped in tape to keep UV off the roots. Easy to use and lift for changes, water testing and it's simple to LST using just pipe cleaners and the bucket lid.
I grow in the basement of my house so res temp isn't too big of a concern for me.

Here's a shot of how mine looks. This was before the tape went on the outside for UV protection.

Nice! Definitely stealing that idea for the LST! And I'm using the igloo cooler for my res, and I have 2-5gal blue buckets from Lowes, that I plan on wrapping with the HVAC reflective tape. And the lid doesn't have hinges, its comes off and pops back on, with a built-in hinge. If I can't find bulkheads that will fit the cooler's thickness, I will have to use a tote from Walmart as my res.
