thats a kind of predatory insect ... heteroptera family ... relatives of bedbugs

they all have that typical triangle on their back

Right you are sir! Hemiptera Heteroptera Lygaeidae is the closest I can classify it. Thanks for the lead Pterostychus. That little leaf eating, sap sucking butt hole!

My grow is in a shed and the humidity level is as low as 10% at times and usually isn't more than 25%. I have tried using a humidifier but if I don't have my exhaust and intake fans running once every few hours then the temps would get into the high 80s (running a 1000w hps). This pretty much renders the humidifier useless because by the time it gets to 30-35% the fans bring it back down. So am I better off raising the light up a few inches to avoid light burn and letting temps sit in the mid to high 80s, or having 10-20% humidity?

Any suggestions appreciated, you guys have helped me a lot, thanks

Hi Guys,
I am about to transplant my girls that are vegging in coco (4" pots) , to expanded clay or Hydroton as most people call it, for flowering in a RWDC. My question is should I remove all the coco - (they are most likely root bound) or is it safe to just pop them into the expanded clay with the coco? I think it will be quite a mission to remove the coco without doing damage to the roots hence why I ask.

Cheers fellow 420'ers!

I've been recommended to use a Vick's vaporizer. I haven't tried it yet but I've been told in my journal that people can get their humidity up to 90% without issue.

I would think that it is fine to leave the coco as they are both considered hydroponic. I would think trying to remove the coco would do more damage than leaving it.

I'm so glad you did it instead of me Happy! That would have been 3 times in one day. Vick's would need to start paying me commission.

BahstahnBud, Just make sure to point the vaporizer at your fan and your ladies. When you overfill or even refill, it will spit and sputter boiling water on them. Cooked then magnified to death @$$ leaves! If you are worried about light burn, I'd move the light back until they start reaching for it. Plus it will keep your canopy cooler.

hey guys how y all doin? its been a while. alright so i have my babies in autopots they are autos day 40 they have all grown like massive. but i think i might have fucked it up a bit with the nutes maybe i guess. they are grown in soil (all mix) with some bloom feeding powder mixed with the soil. i used to give them every 10 days molasses (1 teaspoon per litre), advanced nutrients sensizym, piranha and nirvana ( 2ml/l) some humus hemp and 1 gram per litre of bactobloom powder. everything was fine the first weeks but now i see some spots on the leaves and i dont know what to do. after i saw those marks i stopped feeding and the tank is always full with PH'd water set to 6.5 and i ve only given em some humus hemp only which contains calcium as well. they are under powerfull led lights. room temperature is around 80 F and they are given 20 hours of light per day. anyway any help would be more than appreciated. thanks in advance

Any nutes spill on your leaves? Looks a lot like a potassium def or even a manganese def. I'm absolutely useless with soil help, but can you tell us at what strength your feeding in parts per million, and are you checking your runoff ph? You're using a few things I'm unfamiliar with but it could also be overfeeding, though I'm leaning toward a def, even if it's from lockout. Let us know that runoff ph and Pom feed so we can help better.

Hey Lee. Need some Info to help. Ph of feed ppms in and out type of medium, temps, And nutes you are using. First glance I see cal mag issues. That sad sagging occurs from wind, over and under watering nitrogen toxicity or a cal mag def.

Definitely not nitrogen from where I'm sitting and idk about your watering practices but I would guess your Ph and or ppm is out or range or the simply are thrusting for micronutrients. Look into cal mag plus camg+ calmagic. Any will work

I forgot about this lol they just needed a bigger pot bro thanks for your input tho they are flying now

Nice looking buds man .

Ye so I'm new to checking trichomes I think I'm at about a 60/40 cloudy to clear ratio no signs of amber yet and the hairs have folded in and slightly changed color.
Tried to take pics wast very successful.
