What are possible reasons for
A veg tent with no growth at all for a couple of weeks now. I use LEDs and nothing has really changed.

Do you have pics?

Hi, I appreciate this thread, Thx. I have a question regarding an autoflower fem that I'm growing. When I planted it, I only had access to some really poor quality planting mix--mainly peat dust. It's planted in a 2-3 gallon pot and it's now 24 days old. A couple of days ago i removed the top-3 inches of the poor soil and filled it in, topdressing style, to top it up using high-nitrogen Miracle Gro potting mix for this.
My purpose in adding the nitrogen-rich MG was with the hope that the nitrogen would leach down into the poor soil to feed the plant.

So my question centers on; What is your opinion of this soil dressing strategy? Another question is; would it be better to just replant the plant in good, cannabis quality soil? I haven't done this figuring that the transplanting process would stress the plant more. (Oh, by the way, if this grow is to be a success of any kind, it must be completed within a 70-day window and I'm 24 days into that right now. So, if transplanting sets it back in growth excessively and she doesn't finish (to whatever degree) then it's a write-off.

Thanks for reading and I welcome your opinion.

Well you shouldnt transplant autos anyway, but miracle grow is usually timed release so its usually frowned on.

I guess, but i know what a bummer it is to have 4 or 5 plants and all of a sudden you're looking at 1 or 2 hermies. It's only one reason I use mostly clones.

I'm curious, was this a guess?? Cause,.....i think you're right. I poked my head into my tent right now after the lights been on for about 47mins, and I see it's on all the older leaves, the older leaves that had red stems.... I'm going to keep an eye on the rest of her. She was in veg for almost 8ish week, maybe longer. She was put into flower at week 4 from seed, then week 5 she was put into veg after showing sex and supper cropped....

Good people inspire you to do great things. :Namaste:

hello everyone!

seen an article on another forum on flushing (yes i still am learning on flushing) the article said using a shower on a low heat setting so around 10c (they also were using 7L pots with a coco/perlite mix)

placing the shower head around the pot flushing for exactly 5 mins, letting the pot run off till just a drip, then pouring 10L cold water mixed with flush agent.

only doing this once apparently can help with any salt build up (with the warm water makes the plants drag there excess nutrients build up in there leaves/buds, by then feeding them 1.5L water a day is enough for a 7 day flush.

what does everyone think?

Ive never went to that much trouble, i just start watering to runoff with flawless finish for 10 days or so.

It's a bit overkill, also that amount of water could if your not carful drown your plants

Sooo....its my girl isn't showing her age, my ph meter was off by .4, meaning more alkaline. If I flushed her 2 days ago, and her leaves are starting to dry and die and she's showing signs of over watering, how do I correct this? Do I flush and correct the ph? Do I let her dry up? She's about 4 weeks into flower....or is she dun?

I know 60f is a bit cold but I had to move my plants from my room which stayed at 75-77 to the basement which is 60. I moved em during veg and started flowering a week later. But does a colder temp have any affect on the bud production? ( already know it's not gonna be the best harvest due to the fact that they had hardly any nutrients the first week and a half into flower)

Let her dry out for a day or so then slowly start to feed her Phed water. They are a tough plant
