I got her in the espoma potting soil with added perlite.
Fed her slightly not to much ,Ph'd to 6.8 baby water and 2 1/2 mL of cal mag
She was root bound to the other pot. That's what was wrong with her. I gave her rooting hormone when I transplanted I just sprinkled it all in da hole and planted.
Killing the gnats off with neem oil and diatomaceous earth. I'm seeing an improvement and they seem to not be in the soil at all but still applying both.

This is my critter getter, in addition to keepin the place tidy, I stalked a black spider for three days till I caught it hangin out on one of my lights. Its a dyson and I think they are well worth the extra money around the house as well as in my garden. The cardboard directs cooled air into my fan which passes it on to my babies.

if you hand water your girls in a tent but need to put up a trellis, what are some methods for watering and run off . ill be transplanting 5 gallons to 7 gallons within a couple days . im trying to decide if id rather lug my heavy plants 1 at a time to the bathtub for feeding or putting up the trellis and having to water in the tent with frequently emptying the drip trays . any tricks or opinions to make this easier ?

Have one plant outdoors, unknown genitics. It appears super healthy and it's nodes are now alternating. It's stretching hard and fast. Is it going to be okay with some LST or should I just leave it alone. It's been topped so it has four main branches and its probably four ft tall. I don't think I can trim anymore with the nodes alternating, correct?

They make large plastic trays meant to go under clothes washing machines. They also make small shop vacs capable of sucking up water.

You should be good to go now.

Health is key, fast effective responce is critical. I was messin with em one day and saw a couple of gnats fly out, within five minutes there was a two inch layer of sand on my dirt and a flystrip installed. Every mornin I look across the canopy at the white shower wall and bang on the side of all my pots and give em a good shake and sort of run my hands through em to see if anything flys out. Takes about a minute to make a simple daily check for a little critter that will suck the life out my plants if left to it. My daily leaf removal is a routine I also follow, I look at every single leaf I am considering removing and I have a list of criteria it must meet. I know with about 95% certainty what caused the brown spots on the left one, I took steps to correct a nute issue right away, I thought I was gonna lose that one. She is alive and well but a few spots still show up. The one on the right meets one of the criteria for removal, there is a spot on it. It will be removed from the grow area and I will visually inspect it with magnification. I have a simple microscope on order so I can see if that tiny spec I found has legs.

They have got to the pot I don't see them in the soil... The are sugar ants and I read that their attracted to moisture
I Had Ants in my kitchen a few days before. What you have to do is follow them to find Out where they are coming from. After you have found that opening and after you have proven that this was the only one, buy a powder against them and put a layer of it in Front und arround it. They wont Pass that Line. If you cant buy something today, you can use Baking powder instead. This isnt that effective, but it helps still a Lot. There are also Sprays aviable in the Market that delete the smell the Ants leave to make other ones follow. You dont have to Put this at your plants directly, its enough to stop them from going to your Ladys. You may want to Take a closer Look at your plants too, Ants Like to eat little Bugs Like spider mites or so. In this case you can use Bayer Bio Neem. Dont use any other Neem product. This is the only one which includes a biological solvent to solve the Neem oil in water. I used it against fungus gnats as a foliar Spray and even feeded it to the soil. I wont do this in flower, but in veg it worked with 100% sucess rate

Another question, i run a 2x250W DS-HPS setup. I also own a Lux Meter and i measured arround 20.000 Lux at the Corners and arround 30.000 in the middle with booth Bulbs around 2,5 feet away. So running two of them defenitly add some more Lux, cause with a single one you need to be around 1 feet away to have that power. My question is, do two Bulb add some extra penetration as well, maybe comparable to a 400W hps? Im asking this, because as far as i know, penetration is a question of umol/s.

Two days ago my dish tv went out, after exhausting every quick fix option I was reduced to waiting for a tech visit. I went to the dish and noticed little black ants all over the eye assembally. I loosened it and the ants started to swarm. I didnt want to spray anything directly into it so over the course of a couple of hours I tapped on the side of it and gently sprayed compressed air into it. I watch as sentinals placed themselves in a defensive posture around a perimeter, tails up and ready, while the rest began carrying out larva and vacating the premises. Watched where they went and applied my bug spray accordingly. Put it back together and canceled the service appointment. I found it to be fasinating to watch.

You can always top them, as long as you're in veg. This is how I keep cloning of the same mother. If I were you, I would tie those four branches horizontal with the ground, and let them fill out. Then, maybe top those.

Yes it is, what they can achieve as individuals is great, but its even more impressive how they Work together

Hello everyone, i got a question too :)

I´m currently growing my 1st Photos, i grew Autos before. I send them to flower yesterday after 69 Days of Veg. I did install some Sensors to my Plants which give me Information about Temp, Moisture lvl in the Medium and EC in the Medium. They also do measure Light intensity in umol/s, but thats not that important to me. I kept using them for a while and figured out the Sensors readings when the Plant needs to be watered. My Problem is, my Sensors readout tells me to water now, and my experience tells me that the Plant will be droopy and underwatered soon. Now, because i´m living in a warm area, Lights are on during Night because of Temps, but i need to Water now. I will post some Pics below where you can see the Sensors readout, but my question is, does it hurt my Lady if i open the door and gave her a feeding or is that a huge Problem cause of the Light? I´m feeding after what Harley Smith says, and in this Point there is a high demand in extra P at this Point. I also need to raise K a lot to reach my wanted NPK. So i don´t want her to wait too long for it cause in my Eyes this is the Point where nothing should go wrong or it will diminish my Harvest. Sorry for my Bad English:lot-o-toke:

Moisture readout, just lost 2% in 8 Hours. Normal rate is about 1% per Hour at 26°C and 50% Humidity

EC readout, normally loosing arround 10-15 us/cm per hour

Can i open my Door and Water without doing harm to my Ladys or should i wait another 5 hours till the Lights turn on?

I need what ever sensor you have because this is the sensor that I have

and I don't think it's very accurate the ph reads 7.5 but my runoff is

yes I'm working on getting the ph up by jus watering with calmag and a ph of 6.2-6.5

Having a hard time keeping my res temp down. I have 2 plants in a 12 gal tote with 9 gal of fluid. Is it safe to use frozen bottles of water to help cool it off.

Yes it is, a lot of people do that. Just dont let it get too cold.

Keep an eye on that espoma potting soil. I used that once and had fungas gnats bad so after a little research I found that espoma is pretty well known to have fungas gnat larvae in their soil. I believe the larvae affected my yield but who knows. Just a heads up if you let your soil dry out before watering it will help

It is a Xiaomi Mi Flora Monitor, costs around 10-15 Bucks at the internet. Monitors no ph, only Lighting intensity, Temp, Moisture in Medium and EC in Medium
