Rock on fellas. RP is beautiful and the scrog is turning out nicely!

Brother Shiggs! Great to see ya.

Definitely doing better than when we first met, thanks in no small part to meeting ya. :)

Looking awsome in here that tent is huge.u have filled it well with beautiful ladies. Top job lad;)

theBeast in the garden! Been a while bud, always glad to see ya stoppin' by.

Top notch update as usual guys. The colors of that RP are so rich and vivid. Never seen those colors on a cannabis flower.

Cheers guys

RoorRip

Hopefully we can get her into the sun and grab some natural light photos before we finish her off. She got watered again today, putting her harvest out till this weekend.

She turned out far bigger than I expected and prepared for. So far I'm having a real hard time telling her apart from a Dark Devil, other than size.

I'll be watching for your Red Poison grow, always appreciate more data. :)

June 28 (Tuesday) Update.

Autos: Red Poison is 63, Cheryl (Amnesia Haze) is 47, Early Miss 3 is 33, Train Wreck is 18, and the Quarter Pounder is 6 day old. Temps were 85.3 f and 47% RH during lights on, 69.6 f and 62% overnight. They are on an 20/4 schedule and are 15-20 inches from their lights.

Photos: Purple Kush is 84 days old (day 20 since flipping to 12/12). Temps were 84.0 f and 41% RH during the day, 70.2 f and 59% overnight. She is 13 inches from her main light

  • EM3 got soaked with her first taste of bloom nutes, at half strength (6.00 liters with 15 ml each of DNF Bloom A+B and 4 ml of calmag+) at 644 ppm and 5.8 PH @ 67 f
  • RP got flushed with weak bloom nutes (6.98 liters with 5 ml each of DNF Bloom A+B) at 271 ppm and 5.8 PH @ 67 f
  • PK got soaked with 75% strength bloom nutes and fortifier (7.62 liters with 30 ml each of DNF Bloom A+B, 7.5 ml of GO CaMg+, and 1.5 g of DNF Bloom Fortifier) at 823 ppm and 5.8 PH @ 67 f

Despite some second guessing over the last few days, we decided to water our first Red Poison one more time. That should put her harvest out until at least Saturday, hopefully Sunday. Biz is talking about possibly being away for a couple nights, so we're trying to work her around that to some degree. Always nice to have help and company for a chop and wash.

Our first CKS Train Wreck auto was topped at day 12, and 6 days later she lost the first node's growth on all 6 main branches. I'm trying to get at them as soon as possible on this one. I'll do the same on the next two nodes on all six branches. On the fourth node and up we'll let her start making side branches, but again as soon as it's possible to get at the growth nodes on those side branches, we'll prune off at least one node up as well. The idea is to force her to put more energy into the six main branches and not wasting any time on the branches we don't really want anyway. Our first Amnesia Haze got a similar treatment, but I waited far too long to and cut off a good amount of wasted growth.

Anyway, I'm probably rambling. We smoked our first joints off the Red Poison branch we cut off last weekend, and she's all in the head, almost no body stone yet. Really that just confirms that we needed to wait a while longer.

:laughtwo: Ahhhh..... arteekay. :hugs: lol!

When did that PK burst forth in flower like that? Surely I haven't been that distracted? Miss a couple days around here. :laughtwo:

The Red Poison just jumps right off the page and screams "Here I AM!!!" Two colorful babes in bloom at once guys. You're playing with fire here. Before we know it you'll turn out an entire grow with plants of color.

You do the most amazing job at training them arteekay. I'll reread that intro to the post a few more times to get a better handle on all the node stripping. I seriously wish we were actual neighbors so you could guide me through this. I'm so hesitant to snip or top or mess with them in any way. I don't know why, because the evidence that it works is right here in front of me.

My Med GOM 1.0 is at 11 days now. Almost time for a FIM. You guys will train me yet. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

:laughtwo: Ahhhh..... arteekay. :hugs: lol!

Today I forget my QP, at day 7 even, which means it should be in the life story for harvest night. I'm not even going to fix that, I'm just going to post day 6 or 8 instead. Progress, right?! :)

She only took a week to start showing her girly parts, and I think we noticed the purple starting before two weeks. Tonight she is a third of the way through her 63 day expected flowering time, assuming that it's counted from the flip not the actual start of flowering. I'll bet we get her to 70 days though.

I can't deny I'm pretty excited about her. She's a bit of a floppy mess that I didn't do any lollipopping on, but she's got us thinking we may get close to our current record of 210 from our first Jack Herer auto.

Basically I've been trying to predict at day 12-21 what we'd be removing two weeks later when lollipopping, so that she doesn't waste any time and I don't feel so bad about throwing away any real weight in plant material. The smaller the better. I've also been allowing them to get too crowded lately (IMHO only, YMMV) with smaller nugs than we likely would have gotten from some consolidation earlier.

If you're seriously willing to let me guide ya into how I've been doing it, I'm fully onboard!

Neither are ready for topping yet, and no chance of a FIM cause you'll be bending to snap, not cutting.

I think I could get used to this power! hehehehe

I'm all yours. Guide me. I'll follow your direction without question. I'm really determined to learn to duplicate the process, in my own way of course, that you've developed. It works, pure and simple. I should be able to do essentially the same thing with the hempy pots. Those still freak me out. Never used nutes before, so I'm stepping out of my comfort zone again. :laughtwo:

Looking over your brood I'd have to say the one who speaks to me the most deeply is the Early Miss. Lovely structure and leaf form.

TW at 19 days (11.63 lbs down from 12.42 yesteday, 18.94 lbs after watering tonight):

Only took two pics of her apparently, both because I wanted to get a shot for Sue before I stripped both sides of her new tops. Right side got done before I remembered I wanted pics, the left side right after these pics. We'll do the same for all six of the original 6 branches.

You make it look so effortless. The pictures of the PK from beneath are excellent arteekay. :high-five:

Thanks for the photo of the node stripping. That demonstrates it perfectly. Nice to know I picked the right mentor once again. You guys collectively are gonna turn me into someone you can all be proud of. :laughtwo:

Gosh, the RP makes you want to lick the screen. Lol!

Dammit! Can't give you any more reps. Oh well....... :hugs:

I'm trying to make myself hit this indica and so far I keep getting distracted. Let me set the iPad aside and use some intention.

Jaybiz was on some kind of mission last night. Started right after work with a Red Poison joint, followed up within the hour with two Lemon Skunk joints. Then a good chunk of brownies and a couple dabs, followed up with a beer (both of us are total lightweights with alcohol). Supper and two more joints, a movie with two pauses for more joints after the neighbour came over to partake.

Probably smoked as much last night as we would have in two weeks 10 months ago. In the old days I'd have been miffed for wasting so much, but now... Who cares, spark 'er up bud!

TL/DR; Jaybiz and I started off the long weekend with a purpose. :)

QP at 8 days (11.12 lbs, down from 12 yesterday):

TW at 20 days (16.21 lbs, down from 18.94 yesterday):

EM3 at 35 days (12.74 lbs down from 17.29 yesterday, 23.33 lbs after watering tonight):

Dammit, her turn to get missed, and another one on the day used in the life story on harvest day. That's it, no more missing 'em.

Good Lord arteekay, there's no way to pick a favorite anymore. I'm ooooing and awwwwwwing my way down the page and have to jump back three times before I can turn away. If I come anywhere near this perfection you've created I'll track you down and hug you in person.

You lead. I'll follow.

I admit, I chortled. :laughtwo: Forgive me, but it's so sweet when you do that. It's a huggable moment. :hugs:  Give yourself more of a break. Jay led you down a long and stoney path less than 24 hours ago. I'm impressed that you got this up. :high-five:

We'll see shortly how I made out for tonight's update. :)

Are all those plants autos;)??

The Purple Kush in the scrog is a feminized photo, but the rest in the other tent are all autos.

Easy night after a busy day. Hope my fellow Canadians, and others who were free to help us celebrate, had a great Canada Day!

Our first CKS Train Wreck auto in her 4.6 gallon air-pot made her way into the frame Jaybiz built for us. For now it's really just to make it far easier to pick up and move around, but the possibilities seem large. It takes up a bit of extra room so I had to wait until our Red Poison got her fat ass out the door.

I'm pretty surprised with how thick the buds are on our first Amnesia Haze, or maybe it's just because her hairs are like 3/4 of an inch long. Really looking forward to seeing her progression.

Our first Red Poison is set for harvest tomorrow or Sunday, depending on how we feel really. She'll be dry enough either day I think.

Our third Early Miss is sucking through some decent water usage already, which I find pretty exciting as well.

RP spending tonight with her other sister.

This little bugger attacked me, I swear I only did it to protect myself:

I'm sure it reached out and just smacked at you. :laughtwo: I'd have done the same, in self-defense mind you. Lol!

I find it fascinating that you weigh them every night, but then that's a good part of your success, isn't it? You can more precisely determine the need for a drench. Hmmmm. I complicate my life by setting my no-tills on SWICK reservoirs and then simply it by using regularly scheduled drenches. You gotta love the diversity we get to see here, don't you? All these different ways to grow.

That Purple Kush is going to grow unbelievable buds you know. Even I can see that with my untrained eye.

Well perfect job on the autos perfect training and removing all bottom of plant growth u have done it spot on.this is key for huge dominant main colas.pat on the back sir. Top work;)
