more info ....The pot is 3 gallon, now filled to the brim. When I 'transplanted' the existing pot was also 3 gallon but the dirt had settled ~2.5". I added FF soil to the new pot then transplanted it so the soil level was right at the top. I then continued with the FF nute schedule and added calmag. It has gone thru a grow spurt the last 5 days, slowing now. I'm keeping my lights 18" from the top cola.Looks pretty good to me! If you are following the FF schedule, you should be alright. May just be a little hungry and pulling stored nutes from those lower leaves. I grew recently in 1 and 2 gallon pots, and by the end all the fan leaves got sucked dry. My belief was that the pot was too small to supplement the plants with the required food.
Would like to hear some more experienced growers chime in. Bump up a little more on P and/or K? or just ride it out with the smaller container?
Sounds like it's turning out alright. I'm surprised growth didn't slow from transplanting during flower. You must be doing something right. I still think I'd graduate to a bigger pot on next grow. I had alot of root bound with 3 gal pots. Good luck bud!more info ....The pot is 3 gallon, now filled to the brim. That is a classic symptom of when the plant cannot get enough Nitrogen (N) as fast as it needs it. Since Nitrogen (N) is a 'mobile' nutrient the plant will take what it needs from the lowest leaves on the plant and moves it to the new green growth at the growing tip.filling out fine, yellow leaves starting from the bottom however., It's around 8 1/2 weeks old
about 5-6 weeks in flower. btw, it ended it's stretch a few days agoThat is a classic symptom of when the plant cannot get enough Nitrogen (N) as fast as it needs it. It is unlikely that trying to add Nitrogen now will help much. It might slow down the change in color but unlikely it will stop it. Would help if we knew how long the plant has been in flower.
correction, flowering started 4 to 4.5 weeks agoabout 5-6 weeks in flower. btw, it ended it's stretch a few days ago
perfectly normal for a healthy plant.I have noticed a huge increase in the plant's intake of water with environments remaining constant. It drinks so much we have to water daily. We water till we see runoff appear. I'm assuming that's normal?
My Northern Lights plant produced very well ( not auto) and smell was pleasant and mild all the way through harvest. Also happy with finished product.I have only grown 2 types of plants, Blue Cheese and Northern lights ( which this thread is on). The blue cheese plants reeked like a herd of shunk, the Northern light has a pleasant smell, not very strong and easy to manage, They were both autoflowers. My question is would the Northern Lights photo period also have a mild smell growing as it's autoflower cousin?
spray the leaves I'm assuming? The directions say "Do NOT spray on buds or flowers." ???Looks like a mold. Spray SNS-203!
almost no leaves, just huge buds, not sure how to do this... and being so close to harvest is it lost. I will take 3-5 days to order..... now I'm worried.yes... you need to kill the mold and the spores. Get some more fan action in there too if you can.
