Are my plants ok? First time grower: Autoflower

hello to all, can someone please tell me if these autoflowers will survive

so here’s the deal......

I planted 5 seeds originally in pro plugs
1 seed didn’t make it out at all.
The other 4 were planted originally in miracle grow organic care ( pls don’t shoot, I didn’t know any better)
I ordered fox farm ocean forest
As soon as it arrived which was approx 6 days, I replanted all 4 in fox farm. 3 of them are in solo cup with holes at bottom, the last one is in a 3 gallon fabric pot.
I’m using a hydro crunch tent 2x2 with carbon filter/fan and led lights ( I bought the 600 tent kit)
I’ve kept lights on 24/24
I’ve tapwatered them only, no soil food
I had a day of too of humidity at 26 and temp of 91
I bought a humidifier, tent temp since then has maintained humidity 40-50 /temp of 77-84
Thank you for any and all help

Hi Jenn,

Welcome to 420! Can you post natural light pics? We cant see a thing in blurple...

Your plants look good and your setup sounds nice. Great catch on adjusting both temp and rh... that was not gonna work for long. Yes, I think they will survive. While MG is not the best they can be upcanned into larger bags using the FFOF. Autos can be transplanted but they can also be stunted and get less yield as a result. From everything I’ve read you need to complete topping or training by day 21 for an auto.

Those other 3 in cups should be transplanted soon too, yes you will need nutes & cal-mag

more folks will stop by later

You can run part of the grow as water only and not use nutes per se, but you still want to add the cal-mag. The soil has enough goodies for a few weeks of NPK built in.... but the strain of producing flowers is great so we add nutes to help.

Nutes are NPK..... N nitrogen P phosphorus & K potassium. Cal mag is just a supplement to the nutes providing calcium & magnesium only. Plants need higher N lower PK for veg, but in flower they need less N but higher PK. They need cal-mag all the way thru. This is why most lawn & garden nutes don’t work.

Yes I second everything skirk said.... Those meters are about as useful as tits on a bullfrog. I didn’t want to bum her out either, yes they may survive but yields will be tiny.

Suggest that you try photoperiods to start with. Autos are neat and billed for newcomers. But one mistake in first few weeks and they are stunted with no recovery. I just pulled an AK Purps that was 9 weeks old... I may get a pin joint or two out of the whole thing.

However with photos you can make multiple mistakes and the plant keeps on trucking.

Get both types of seeds on your next order that way you are covered. For soil grows 3 gallon bags or buckets are on the low side for a photoperiod. Most do 5 gallon but 7.5 is better. For soil grows bigger bucket is better however given that your tent is 2 X 2 you should grow 1 plant at a time but then start your next seed when the first plant is flipped to flower. The seedling will need to be kept out of the tent so it doesn’t go into flower but you can keep the second plant going with a just T-5 or cfl bulb.

Don’t fret about anything.... it’s all good and part of the learning curve. Try your best with what you’ve got and we are here to help.

I'm not going to sugarcoat it @Jenn6981. They'll survive but will not amount to much at all. At least you've corrected glaring mistakes for your next effort, i.e., medium, Rh and temp. Keep your soil moist, not wet, get air circulation and transfer out of the clear cups when possible. I noticed your 3 way meter is set to ph. That meter is only mildly accurate to gauge moisture. You've got some homework to do, I suggest GWE's growing basics tutorial. Good luck and Welcome.
By the bye, when did those sprout?
Thank you for that. I’m not familiar with GWE but I will look it up. I’m literally learning step by step. Honestly I read somewhere that as long as I have a good soul, all I will have to do is water and they will grow. I’m seeing that’s not true. It’s been a week since they sprouted.
so I’m definitely learning here. Hoping I can at least get 3 or 4ounces out of this???Either way I will certainly take all advice given. I was thinking those bottom leaves yellowing can’t be good??

Wow so you don’t think I will even get an ounce of these 4?

Anything is possible but let’s wait and see....forget yields - don’t count your chicks before they hatch ... you’ve got to grow one out to maturity first

my first plant was 930g wet at the chop but do a little math & say oh crap that’s a massive yield until you realize 930g wet after curing & drying is only about 8 zips total. I lucked out at that but I had poured over about 2500 pages here to get my groove on.

I’m a greenhorn newbie but that’s cool too

As a Nunya said most likely yields be tiny but you can learn by trying to keep a plant alive. Heck keep all of them going if you can but consider it’s not worth the space when you could start over and outgrow those plants in 2 weeks by using photoperiods. Do you have more beans? Do you know what they are - photo, autos or bagseed?

Yes It’s possible to grow without nutes but that’s an advanced level and I don’t think you are there yet, so yes nutes and cal-mag are needed too unless you use an all in one like megacrop, it’s one of the most popular and it’s easy to use.

The problem is no other ferts work, not lawn & garden, not houseplant or tomato ferts either. You need high N lower PK in veg but lower N higher PK in flower.

Ok I will keep them going. My tent won’t hold too many plants in bigger pots. I can probably put 2 more 3 gallon fabric pots. I don’t have anymore seeds.
I can buy nutrients tho. I’m told fox farm has a line of nutrients. I can definitely get those. What specifically do I need to do about the yellowing of the leaves at the bottom of the plant?

They just need some food . Grab the fox farm it's def good stuff

Those clear cups, slide them inside another cup that's opaque no light. It will not stop all of it but will help those roots get out to the sides.
How many nodes (sets of new branches) does it have? Each one will send out a branch and have a chance to grow a flower. My 3 week old Bruce Banner auto

Welcome and hope you get it going nice to meet you

Ok so I found this pack online. I’m assuming this pack contains the cal mag and nutes, I need? Any suggestions on which bottle I use first? Also it looks like they won’t arrive till next Wednesday? Is that too much time to pass?

you can toss the soil meter. it won't measure a thing you wanna know about.
grab a hydro ph meter - hanna - blue lab - apera are good brands. there are other cheaper ones, not all are good. i use a decent apera.

you might want to try mega crop as nutrient. the single nutrient version. could probably skip the ph. it's just one thing that you mix to feed from start to finish. gets rid of multiple bottles etc. not hard to learn how to use. it's a dry nute you mix with water.
