Arctic Bowl's 1st Ever Attempt At A Grow Journal

Ok here we go, some pics of our work in progress, got 7 of the girls up potted today. Gave them a good spray down and will check on them in the morning. Haven't fired off the lights yet (other than to test them out and make sure they work. Nothing is permanent yet, just laying things out and need the 4x4 taken down still. Ms J was pretty tired so we kept things pretty short so she could get some rest, takes a day or so to readjust to the time change and the temp change. I figured for sure she would bring some 80 deg weather with her but she left us hanging on the warm temps :rofl:

This is the 550 that I just took out of the box yesterday lmao.....had it for a while now but......I can say that it is one bright SOB and should do a super fine job.

This is what the twins look like, boards and driver info were from GrayTail (thank you again gray:high-five:) we did up 5 of these and we had 2 of the twins we purchased from HLG. All the heat sinks are HLG and these last 5 we made are also mega bright!!! I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing and was looking right at one of these twin board lights and plugged it in :bravo::bravo::bravo: what a STUPID thing too do :rofl: can't even blame it on being stoned, just dumb :cheertwo::cheertwo: lmao. I couldn't see a freaking thing for like 3 min ffs, don't try this bone head move out though, not really that much fun :rofl:

7 of the girls moved up to there big pots, not tied out yet Duggs but will be brother just taken my slow ass time lol. These should be some big girls if all goes well and it should.

This is our temporary layout for the lights ( 2 more to hang but I ran out of ratchet straps ) and I have to find some hangers for the drop ceiling track so I can position the lights a bit more evenly and the 4x4 tent in the right corner still has to come down.

Before we light these off we will give ya a lil heads up before hand so you can grab your shades, think we will be causing a solar flare when they turn on :rofl: can’t wait to see this shit lmfao.
 
Got more ratchet straps and drop ceiling grid hooks ordered from the rain forest site :-) gotta love ya some free shipping to Alaska. Just got me my night cap and a Stella and got Ms J a nice glass of wine after her nap. Just gonna chill out and take life easy for the night. Also got an order in to Doc for some resupply items, need to get more soil cooking, down to our last 2 bins and they are a week out before they will be ready to use.

Snowblower repair is on the hit list for tomorrow.......never a dull moment round here lmao.
 
Lights look great AB. :high-five: Don't you just love the ease of working with the quantum boards? They weigh nothing and will go anywhere you can rig them up.

I already have my shades hanging on the front of the tent. Lol!

The lights all look wonderful. Your plants will really reap the benifits, I already know. Not to mention all the added space. Glad to hear J is home safe. I know she posted on Facebook about being happy to be home with you .

You realize that a mod could get your journal shifted back to current journals? It's an easy fix. Not that we can't find you or anything, just that you're out of place. :battingeyelashes:

Heya DP thanks for the kind words, the room is work in progress for the next bit of time but it’s getting there :-) Now if we could only find someone that could put these tents to good use that would be great, the 4x8 is down and the 4x4 still needs to come down but it’s moving right along.......slowly but with work and the nice cold weather it seems I’m never ahead so it’s a do what I can do when I can do it thing.

One good day of work and it could all be ready to rock n roll just that one days time will be split up into many days with like an hours worth of work lol, oh well, it’s a goal thing and we will get there, just not fast :rofl:

Got to be to much of a pain in the ass low crawling into the tents to water/spray the girls so we will see how this turns out. We’re hoping it works much better for us just need the time to complete the transition from tents to rooms. Don’t think we will have any shortage of light for the girls :-0

Lmfao Dabs, well if it’s too much light then we will do a lil changing around or not run them all if they are not needed. Just have two burning right now but will be firing off a 3rd one in a day or so, just want to ease into these lights so the girls don’t freak out to badly. Didn’t get any chores done tonight but I’ll try and get a few small tasks done in the morning....... after I do some paperwork.....yuck!!

Well Ms J and I did get a few things done in the GR today. 3 more of the bigger girls got up potted to 15's and we lit up the quad board, hope you were ready for that solar flare :rofl: we also got 3 Pineapple Express into 1's so things are coming right along, slowly but making progress. Had to get back to the house to get ready for the UFC fights......lol not even sure who's fighting but we will be watching.

The bigger pots are closer to 20's and the smaller green/blue pots are 15's, the 3 lil pots are 1's
They will be getting tied out this week to open them up for flower and get some fans chopped off. Think we will flower these out and then pop some Panama's and purple peyote and see what those turn out like just for fun.

Sorry for the lack of pics but not too much exciting going on in veg but once they flip we will try and get pics a little more often.

Thanks for stopping by our lil disaster room :rofl: it's getting better but I can't wait to get things all in there place and not be such a cluster in here.

Morning to ya Duggs, yea things got away from us a bit this year but there’s a few young ones that we hope to get more training in on for sure, had some big projects this year and they really put everything else on the back burner for the most part, Hell, only had the car out twice all summer/fall which is criminal :rofl: Ms J used her car a few more times but nothing like we should have, haven’t even washed them and that’s my pet peeve :rofl: Ms J says I’m Anal about keeping them spotless lmao, well, fixed that didn’t I :rofl:
