Born and raised on badger road....currently living in Fairbanks.Morning Alaska420907,
Thank you for the kind words! Yes we live here in North Pole, ready for this winter snow stuff to be done with lol. Enjoying more daylight this time of year but need more heat from it to melt this snow faster . You around these parts?

I know me 2 4 real ive seen sum monsters on here b4 but i wud love 2 grow one myself..... one day i will tho but 4 know im content with jus growing sum normal beauties while i learn how 2 grow this amazing herb lolMorning Blazin,
Yes we use the HB in the #1 as well and they do very good in them. With Docs gear, and photoperiod beans anyway you want them to get root bound in the ones prior to up potting to recommend at least #7. We went with 10's and one 7 this go at it and they are doing fantastic. If we had better and longer summers here I'd try a huge pot outdoors, like swimming pool size (1000 gallon) lol, always wanted to try and grow a tree

Arctic Bowl - you wouldn't happen to have a 400 watt light setup laying around would ya??
Lol in my case low humidity is a problem. I know once my plants get a lot bigger and hold more water that it probably won't be an issue, but for now I have to run a humidifier at full speed 24/7 and am barley at 50% RH.Don't have a 400 that's not in use ( in the 4x4 tent over clones) but have a few 600's cool tubes that are on the shelf. Trying to move to all LED but not all the way there yet , by summer we will have the last few LED lights, don't want all that heat to deal with. We vented the cool tubes but then we couldn't keep up with humidity, you know the drill lol.

Hey AK thank you
We're loving this high Brix soil so far and really are enjoying how easy it is to use. We were using the fox farm nuets and they worked well but, so much less to mess with in kit soil. Takes a little to get use to not mixing up so many different things but a good thing we think anyways. Plants are happy and that's our goal, happy healthy girls.

Sorry I'm tired. You are using LED's. Anyone's in particular you'd recommend? I'm not looking to spend a million bucks but I'll have a couple hundo to play with here thus coming week or so...
Plants look awesome, good stuff! I am currently in fox farm and have been eyeing Doc Bud's kit, can't wait to try high brix growing.
I'm new to this but what I've managed to keep going on my first time looks good, in my opinion. 9 days in flower

I've decided on the Mars 600. Thank you .Hey Alaskan, from another Alaskan: with your small grow (so are mine), I highly recommend the Mars 300 for around $70 from Amazon. Each unit will replace 6 23Watt CFLs. The penetration is phenomenal, compared to the CFL's I used to use. Shipping is free to AK, and they deliver right to your door.
I started off cheap, and I continue to run cheap, with passive ventilation, and lots of fans.
Got a few pics today, the girls that got put in flower last weekend are doing really great and the clones got moved to soil last night and are looking good. Clones had killer roots in just under 2 weeks.
This was are 1st time cloning and we were not very hopeful they would do there thing but thanks to all our fellow growers giving a helping hand they look to have made it.
Bulk kit ordered and its on the way, we need to get more soil cooking for our indoor fun as well as for the green house. This kit soil has us sold!!! Can't wait to grow some nutrient dense veggies with a nice high Brix, mmmmmmm.
