Archiweedies - Grow III

I was growing autos last grow and i had burnt leaves. My hydro guy told me it was way to high. I flushed till i got 400 ppm. Then feed at 400 to 500 ppm and she recovered nicely.
Busy smoking her now.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Veg +/- 500 ppm. Flower 600 ppm. Also depends on how hungry for nutrients it is. The plants will let you know if they want more or less nutes...

Right on man I flushed her until runoff was 490ppm. I fed her with nutes at 1ml/ltr. Feed was only about 300ppm or so. I also checked the height and she's 24" under the Mars II 400w. Hopefully she bounces back. Should I continue the low feed until she bounces back you think?

I also, for giggles, checked the runoff on my other two coco plants. Tyrone A and B's runoff was around 1100 ppm! Their feed going on hasn't been higher than 1000ppm and that was because of the 240ppm tap water I used a couple times. Is that too high? Should I flush?

While I'm telling you all my problems haha. I swear I see little white things moving in the runoff? I'm tripping right?

Just decided to throw in a random update:
Day 33
DBC got flushed to try to help with whatever is up with her. I thought it was potassium deficiency at first, then I saw the edges curling up. One things for sure it's progressing. I flushed her with phed water until the runoff was around 500ppm. The runoff was like 1100 when I first started flushing.
Tyrones are doing well.
NCH is gonna be a space hog.

Day 39
HBSS is building! I gave her a thorough soaking today with just ph'Ed water in preparation for her forthcoming addition of carboload and then overdrive five days later.

Day 8 for Toof Decay isn't looking so great. She sprouted so fast, I may have let the coco dry or something. She's really light green and I know it cause she's building roots. I would have thought her second set of leaves would come out and then she would be fine. Well it's almost like she's unable to use the light for energy because there is so little green left.
Although I'm. It supposed to feed for the first ten days, I had to give her a small sip. She got around 0.5ml/ltr AN MGB and a couple drops of superthrive. Hope she has enough fight in her to bounce back.

Well that's it as far as the grow goes. I did find a seed in my recent Northern Lights harvest. Almost smoked it all and it's the only seed I've found. I didn't even know the plant had hermied

1100 pppm is high man.
I would flush it. Can only do good. My tap water also about 230ppm. I still mix the nutrients 500 ppm veg 600 to 700 flowering.
Another thing i learnt is autos like a routine of feed, feed, water. Repeat!! Flush often.

Will do GB. You feed/feed/water in coco or soil?
I think I must have gotten salt build up due to not enough runoff. Gotta get my stand built for my flood tray. Removal of runoff is my least favorite thing.

In coco. But i add amendments to it. Worm castings, bone meal, lime, lava dust (NB!!!) Perlite. Also add in well sived organic compost. Then feed them low ppm as its a beefed up hydro.

That is 1 Durban poison in my mix. Filling up a 1m x 1m tent. Not an auto though!!
And the new CMH lights are the bomb. Its only 315 w.

As for removing run off from tray. You can drill few small holes in lid of plastic firm bottle. Turn upside down squeeze it in. Put lid in the runoff and release. Water will get sucked up.
Always water till u get some runoff!!

That Durban is sweet man! Good tip for removing water with a water bottle! I finished up my little flood tray table, plumbed a ball valve, and will feed them when I get home.

I made the table tall enough I could get a 5 gallon bucket underneath it no problem. I believe it maybe time to setup a little drip irrigation on the girls in coco. Any tips on watering frequency as far as my timer goes? I see thirty minutes on two to three times a day mentioned a lot. Am I basically just looking for decent runoff after each watering?

First few times just see how long it takes to get runoff. And work it out from their.
That Durban poison is the best smelling bud i smelt!!!

Okay I'll give it a go tomorrow. Got a busy day though so may have to wait. Doctor appointment in the am and kids to get to school haha.

Here's the table I built :

How tall is the tent bro? Nice table !! Hopefully u don't run out of space as they streach upwards. Should maybe put a scrog in to keep canopy even and level. Very important with Leds. Nice setup though.

Tent is a 4'x4'x70". These autos in here are roughly Day 35 to day 41 (HBSS is 41 today) Either I stunted them or they have yet to stretch. All have started flowering except DBC. If she did have a potassium deficiency, that could explain why she hasn't flowered yet. I kinda hope she's a photoperiod so I can grow her out to be a monster lol!

Hey archie nice setup! Gorgoues plants! Im subbed in!

Welcome BF! Thanks man .I'm always working towards something lately. Just setup a flood tray. Gotta work out the slope so I can collect runoff. If it is too tall I can always make it shorter. In fact, I may start looking for a lower profile container that can fit under there.

Today, time permitting, I hope to upgrade my Mars II 400w to run three citizen 1812's. I'm really hoping this light update grows me some bigger better flowers.

BF your a coco guy, I built my table with the idea to setup a drain to waste drip irrigation for the plants in coco. I've e got all the parts. My pump is only like 165gph hopefully that will work. If. Or I'll get a better pump. With your experience, what advice do you have about setting the system up?

I ended up with 2 photos out of 6 auto's. Was a luck. Passed them on to friends to raise. Just had to much on the go.

Yea last grow failed on my cause I got a photo that was supposed to be an auto. This is Mephisto though! I'm going not!

Looking great, dude!

Table came out great.

Thanks Vex! Maybe one day I'll get brave and grow a real monster like yours! Beautiful work there man! I can't imagine the patience it's taken to grow that specimen!

Day 36 Update:

DBC not showing flowers. Most people might freak, not me! I hope I have another crack at an auto that turns out to be a photo! Plus She's in a plastic pot, I'm certain I could transfer her to a bigger pot! I got bad luck with heavy indicas man! They don't like me and my growspace. Perhaps I'm starting the lights too low and it causes them not to stretch up some more. It's like 10"tall!

The Tyrones are doing fine, one is leggier than the other but I'm content with my training.

420-magazine-mobile1324599621.jpg

Northern Cheese Haze is still showing some signs of claw. She is almost ready for a feeding and I think I'm gonna go easy on the nutes. Maybe only 1ml/ltr of base nutes and 1ml/ltr of AN Carboload.

HBSS Day 42 is obviously flowering and smells insane!
420-magazine-mobile128460295.jpg

Toof Decay day 10 she's finally starting to grow new leaves!!

Thanks for looking everyone and please help me become a better grower if you see the chance!
