Anyone up for a challenge?

God is good all the time, and all the time God is good! So you know what I am talking about, over the past few weeks my eyes have been very active. I have been seeing shadows and silhouettes of my arms my hands my legs, and at times my dog when he's on my lap my wife when were in the car driving and things within a foot or two of me. Both my wife and I have been wondering what has been going on. Did some research online, and simply couldn't find much of anything. So, we made an appointment and went to see an eye surgeon/specialist he performed quite a few tests, and then went to the most basic of them. He turned out all the lights in the room, and started shining a light into my eyes. As he was doing this, I saw a very dim yellow colored light going from right to left across my right eye. As it turns out... That is exactly what he was doing with that life at that exact moment. This is by no means happening all the time, but when it does Hartman's me, but it does mess with my equilibrium. When I try to walk unsupported, I look like a drunk sailor... LOL. How were the landlady has macular degeneration in one eye and is blind in the other. She went to see her doctor yesterday and informed me that he agrees with her that this is a sign that my brain is trying to repair the damaged area comma mainly the optic nerve. It can keep going, or it can stop right here or it can continue in any level of acuity. May I ask all of you Believers that are following This Thread to pray for my eyes and their repair.

You have every ounce of prayer and belief in my being Grandpa! I am so extremely excited for you! What a great and real positive sign of gaining your sight back, or at least part of it for now.

You just made my day. With all of he sadness going on around us on a daily basis, it is so gratifying to read this. Outstanding, positive news and thanks so much for including us in your excitement.

Thank you, CF. That whole post there warms my heart more than I can say. There is a lot of terrible things going on in this world, and I won't get into my beliefs in the timing of it all. However, I am more than blessed. Especially for someone who was Satan's favorite friend for a lot of years. God has been so good to me, beginning with actually making the effort and taking the time to bring me back into the River of Love following my Lord Jesus. If you were to hear the entire story of what happened to me in those days of coming back, is just one more example of God's glorious existence. He has told me that this is not to be posted in public
. but anybody on this thread that wants to know... I'll be happy to tell you. All I can do, as a Believer, is to have faith in the fact that God has this, and all of our backs... Whether we believe or not. I know that for a lot of years, I have my back to him and was angry. He still had my back! That is quite evident and quite obvious when I look back on things. Again, thank you. And thank you again to everybody that has taken me under their wing, whether it be directly or indirectly. May God bless you all as he has me.

Apparently... One of two things are happening. Either Satan is messing with us, or God's timing is not right yet. Possibly both.
Without getting into detail, it seems that when we see our way clear to finally finish getting the soil ingredients, something comes up. I haven't forgot the promises I made on this thread! You all have the right to know why I have been absent on this thread for so long. Suffice it to say that we have had to take on two more monthly payments that have stretched the budget to the breaking point. I apologize to you all. While I did not plan it this way, this is how it is going. It is what it is, and I still feeling frustration for not being able to get started. I had planned to be at least half way through that grow at this point, but...
We are addressing things as we can, but this situation looks bleak to be able to afford anything extra for for the foreseeable future.. Once again, I am so sorry after all the help that has been given to me. I feel terrible. God bless, everyone.

As far as who is messing with you, only you knows all the facts and therefor need to dig deep and see if it is a bad act or a sign of something

AB... thanks for the kind words, these issues are everything to do with health. . we have no control over it no... I really believe it is one of two choices I mentioned in my last post. Yes, everything will be reconciled when it is the right time for it to happen. You never know... We might win the lottery or get a windfall. lol

As far as the collective... It is a great idea. I belong to a couple in our area. However, our state has just become legalized for recreational use and it will not be until 2018 until true dispensaries and collectives start to appear.

AB... thank you for the wishes. We are hoping and praying that we will be able to get started Buy February at the latest. You're right... we have all the gear we need all except the soil ingredients. God would not have worked through these wonderful people, yourself included, if it wasn't his will that this be done. It's just having to wait for His timing in this.

Hiya! Merry Christmas from Spain!

I am on my first growth (second batch as we speak).

I believe that sometimes brains out-does eyes and with so many helpful people I am sure that we can get your first crop up and running!

I own a 80 by 80 by 160 square meter tent, I believe thats 3 by 3 feet. In there I would recommend a maximum of 4 plants and 400 watt HPS light with a regulator since you want to start with less intensity and ramp it up as they grow.

Water air earth and fire are the key elements that we need to understand and respect for our plants to be happy, if you then speak about quality and quantity I would like to ignore such factors when you're starting off since no-one has ever been a champion from the start!

I never used any filters and I find them unnecessary unless your neighbours complaints about smells.

I have subscribed and am happy to give you comments using my limited experience as a base haha

This is going to be a very interesting thread. I'm going to enjoy following your journey. Growing is satisfying in so many ways.
On the subject of soil. I would suggest that you use one of the ready made soils out there. By doing this you take feeding out of picture of things that could go wrong. Some would gasp but miracle grow soil does very well. Fox farms is a organic choice.

I hope all of you had a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I hope it was full of love, fun and was safe. I must apologize for my long absence again. To make a long story short, it was basically because of our internet and cable company decided to upgrade their system and knocked out for 5 days or so. As they were fixing it, the storms came to California and it was for the most part out in a lot of areas that affected us here because of the flooding. It's still very sketchy. Some days completely not there others at times and rarely a few hours at a time at best
In the limited time that I had online to do research, I came across a method that I think will work well for us, and there's a lot less money to put together as I raise the funds to get the water only soil ingredients. I will post this method below.

Fred...Thank you for your very nice and encouraging words. We're almost there! Just need to pick up the things from the method I am posting below. I believe my tent is close to if not the same size. I will be using LED lighting... I think 300W. Since we are growing only for personal use, we will only have one or two going at the same time initially. All that needs to be done is for me to find the money in our overstretched budget to purchase the ingredients. I never ask for prayers before... But I am now. we now have two ration our meds each month just to make it until the end. How are dispensaries here have raised their prices quite drastically, and we can only get about three-quarters of what we used to be able to get for the money we have to spend. I just cannot take this physical and emotional stress for very much longer. I ask that you guys pray for resolution of the situation. Thank you!

8 Qt. Miracle Gro Perlite $4.24

1 Bottle BlackStrap Molasses- (Grocery Store) $5.00

The goal of the soil is to give as much myco activity as possible, this means there will be live fungus and bacteria in your soil that will help the plant grow by increasing root activity. As well, the soil needs water retention AND good drainage. This soil contains dolomite lime to balance pH @ 6.5, this is intended for those who have no access to PH meters. While it's always advised to have a meter, if you use just what's recommended here a lock-out is unlikely to happen unless you're watering with >9 or <5 PH water. Most tap water does not fall in this range.

First thing you want to do is get a bin or tub large enough to mix all of your components.
Next cut open your bag of Potting Mix and dump it in the bin, after this you want to use 0.5TBSP per QUART of potting mix, so with 32 quarts of potting mix, you want to mix in ONE CUP (measure) of Bio-Tone Starter+ into your potting mix. Sprinkle half a cup, mix thoroughly, when you think you're done mixing, mix more. Pour the other half of cup in and repeat, remember the more mixing, the better. Once you've mixed in all of your Bio-Tone Starter+ get your bag of perlite and poke holes in the bottom of it, rinse it through in the tub or something to get rid of all of the dust. This step isn't required but it's advised. Once you're done rinsing the perlite, pour half the bag or 4 quarts in. The exact amount isn't as important as it was to measure out the bio-tone, perlite has no nutrients in it. Again, mix thoroughly - much like you did with the bio-tone.. the bio-tone is small and hard to see the perlite is larger and you'll know when you have an even consistency. Once you're done mixing this, pour in your two bags of Natural Coarse Sand (this stuff looks like gravel more so than sand, you'll see when you have an even consistency.

Week 9 - Plain water + 1TSP Blackstrap Molasses The molasses gives cal-mag boost, you can use it in veg if needed, but you should have enough cal-mag between the dolomitic lime available in the soil and the bio-tone to get you to week 5. If you start to notice any Cal-Mag def at all, use 1TSP of Molasses for one of the waterings during week 3 & 4, otherwise use sameschedule the entire grow.

Heya! Seems like you're off to a good start with the soil! I wouldnt know where to begin to create my own substrate hahaha I just buy Canna Terra Professional that's about 10€ for a sack of 15L and lasted me about 10 plants in 3L pots.

I did my first grow with only Advanced Nutrients Grow Micro Bloom as a base and their Voodoo juice for root bacterias. I had deficiencies yes but the weed came out great in the end anyway so I wouldnt put too much head-worries about it hehe.

The LED you speak of, is it 300w real wattage? If you have a link I'd be happy to take a look at it. You could even start off using CFL which is way cheaper and does also give good results.

I have two here of 250w I could send you but not sure how much that would cost from spain haha.
