Anyone else own a 90w UFO?

I know EXACTLY how you feel !! I myself just recently invested an untold amount of Cash into a lot of new Equipment myself,, including Tent's,, Light's,, and Ventilation.. And it can be RUFF on you Mentally and Monitarily.. As far as recommendation's go,, the BEST I could do Sir,, would be to tell you my personal Experience with the L.E.D. UFO that I own,, and point you in the direction of a few MUCH LARGER Grow's.. For my small Garden though,, going BIG is not a good Idea.. ..

I have a 400watt HPS Fixture myself,, and it is sitting in the Attic where it will more than likely stay.. lol .. Heat Issue's can wreak HAVOC on a Garden (As I'm sure you know),, Especially in smaller areas'.. lol ..

I'm not sure if you've seen my small Grow Journal or not,, but please feel free to drop on in and check it out.. I'm happy to answer any Question's and ALWAY'S wanting any help I can get.. .. :)
 
Yep, I just got a new tent little smaller than 4x4x6 and with that 400HPS and the vents and vortec fan theres not much room left ! I'd love to replace it all with a few 90s (led) but I keep hearing conflicting stories about them , Theres a new sponsor hear (builder) who sells some pretty nice sounding lights but the prices are way up there Pit Viper has had a few grows but hes using a 600 watter which probably cost over a grand thats out of the question for an unemployed const worker !! Guess will have to wait and see what falls out !! Take care guy thanks for the reply :peace:

Yes Sir,, I hear you there !! Thing's take up NEEDED Acreage quick in small area's !! The LED I'm using right now isn't alone in my Tents',, I have a small 150 HPS and a 100 MH and a new T5 CFL all in there at the same time.. But,, the addition of the LED seemed to be the one my BabyGurl has liked the MOST.. Im not sure I'd change a thing,, in my personal Experience,, the closer we can come to Duplicating the Suns' Spectrums' the more our BabyGurlz will Thrive !! !!

Keep me Posted on whatever you do.. I'd like to know which you decide on .. ..

 
I've used LED's for the past year. I use them for veg and bloom, and I have seen modest reults with my last harvest. It was a White Widow seed from nirvana that was under 24hrs light for 6 weeks, and then flowered her for 8 weeks. I ended up with an ounce of Some great smoke. The only reason I use the LED's though is becasue I like to keep it simple, and with them I dont have to worry about ventalation as much because they dont give off any heat. I am expanding to grow tents, and will only be using them in my vegg tent.
 
Well I just tried to order one from Builder , but that f---en pay pal screwed things up ! Damn I hate pay pal !! I'm going to wait for builder to pm me so I can get this light on the way to my tent ! My 400 hps is cooking everything ! I've got my 2 clones going in the res, they were fine under a 150 but once I put them into the new tent with the 400 they didn't look too happy !? Don't know why, new water, touch of grow nutes plenty of bubbles , they just look a little droopy with the big light and its at least 2' above them ??

Ahh,, see I personally would have said to go with a UFO Style Fixture or Two,, but that would have just been my Personal Opinion of course.. I'm going to do some UpDated Picture's on my Grow tomorrow,, looking forward to seeing what you guys' think about her Progress.. .. :)

Finally got the order in , got a 144 watt from Builder . After reading every thing I could find I decided to go with their lights !! Also ordered 5 Femd NL seeds to go with the new lights ! Let see how they all do in the new tent !! I'll have to check out your grow next !! :peace:

The main issue is heat. If one can't drill holes in the walls then its really hard to vent that hps heat out. CFL's run pretty hot as well. I just love these led's. I still want to combine them with hps i just need to get a house asap.

I would have to agree with you on the Heat Issue.. And in my personal Opinion,, the LED's accompanied with the HPS,, MH,, and CFL's all together seem to be an AWESOME combination.. ..

By the looks of things,, your (Ruffly) 3 Weeks into Flowering ?? .. Your BabyGurlz look VERY Healthy !! !!

Yup RedDawg im about 3 weeks in flowering. The ladies are flowering very well so far. I'm glad I used bushmaster to keep these bitches from stretching. I feel like if they did the led's would get any of the lower branches. Temps are really nice in my room now. I cant wait to get this crop out so I can fill my room with led's.
