5 weeks into flower with strawberry cough and Girl Scout cookies. Temp 18-23 ph 6.5 2 liters of water in 3 g fabrics pots every two days seems to dry quick notes is gh trio half strength every second watering with thier root booster, floralicious plus, kool bloom 450 w led 24 hr ventilation and fan on canopy. Seems every couple days like ten or so bottom leaves suddenly yellow brown curl up and fall off regardless if I’ve watered or fertilized everything up top seems great lots of red stems but I think that’s the strains

The good news is you have so many leafs that if this is slowly happening you're perfectly ok.

I would try feeding trio full strength, that's all I've ever ran and have had no issues. If you see tip burn then you know to back off to 3/4th strength. It really depends on what stage the plants are in. For example at full strength right at flip you'd probably see tip burn but 5 weeks in you're much less likely to see tip burn (based on running full strength trio)

If you want to remain more cautious and keep your current feeding measurements, I'd recommend fluctuating your ph from 6.1 And 6.5 alternating. Give a bit more range to your nutrient uptakes

At 5 weeks on 2, 9 week strains it's pretty normal for lower leaves to start going as the plants near the end. It could be an early Potassium deficiency due to salt buildup or pH. If you water too often the ph of the soil will remain too low. It could also just need more food.

Media state? First grow. It’s half ffof half potting soil it is compacted from waterings thoughts
Ahh, that's me out then sorry mate. If it was Coco I could help. Soils a whole different ball game. Plenty awesome soil growers about though so you'll be back on track soon enough.
Don't fret mate, 420 will sort your dramas :)

As the plant gets closer to being finished it will use up stored nutrients in the leaves sometimes. Also they tend to turn fall colors because naturally it is fall when they are harvested so it only makes sense that some leaves will change colors. It shouldn’t happen in veg or early flower though.
I’d say cut off the yellow leaves and don’t worry about it.

And definetely fluctuate a little with the ph. Anywhere between 6 and 7 in soil is good. I agree with @vyserage.

#1 make sure you’re feeding bloom nutes watch for tips of leaves burning, then back off a little.
#2Fluctuate ph between 6 - 7

#3Trim dying lower leaves

#4 let us know it it gets worse

You should be good till harvest, hope this helps.

Looks pretty normal...those bottom leaves aren't getting much light,so the plant lets them die off.
The plant will suck all the nutes out of them before she drops them,so you might be better off letting them fall off on their own...they're not pretty, but they don't hurt anything, either

Ya I only pull the ones that are falling off on their own pretty much touch them and the fall just worries me because it’s roughly ten leaves every 2 days seems like quite a bit but first grow so

Losing that many is definitely a problem.

If they were mine, I'd do a fail safe fix which is to:
* take each plant outside and set the hose on low for 5 to 10 minutes to flush out any possible salt build-up.
* let sit for 10 minutes to drain.
* run 2 or 3 gallons of Ph'd water (6.2) through it (so you flood out the hose water that wasn't ph'd.
* let sit for 10 minutes to drain.
* feed a full dose nutrients based on GH schedule, also ph'd at 6.2. Run a good gallon through it. Let sit to drain then place back in tent.

From there alternate from 6.0 to 6.8 max every watering or feeding, just a low ph and high ph alternating. 3 to 5 days and the plants should stop canabalising it's lower leafs assuming it's not root related which is unlikely. I had the same issue you're having in my first grow when I used maricle grow soil and had issues with nutrients. You've got either a deficiency or toxicity of something which in turn could be locking something else out. A flush would fix that and put things back on an even ground. You could even use just the GH nutrients at full dose and avoid your extras for a bit and see how it reacts.

That's a kind of fix all solution. Do keep in mind leafs on the bottom that have been shaded for a good while will eventually be canabalised due to lack of light.

I introduced kool bloom to my grow this time around, everything else exactly as the last grow and some of the plants I'm growing are clones of the last round, growing under the same light. I did not see sudden lower leaf self defoliation the first time around, with kool bloom though some of my plants lost a fair amount of lower leaves, mostly smaller, some bigger. Like self lollypopping. My friend told me that kool bloom is pushing all the energy up to the top of the plant so it makes sense that those low light less efficient lower leaves would get blown out. Not saying this is your deal but mine was mighty similar. Just touch a little leafy and bam he drops. My tops are lookin pretty friggin killer though, I have plenty of leaf left, oh yeahh....

Ya might have to bud I’d have to cut my screen out so hopefully not thanks for the detailed advice

I was actually leaning to the kool bloom burning them at first I backed off to about a quarter dose and didn’t seem to change anything did seem to start around the time I started adding it though
