Any idea what causes this discoloration?

I'm up against the same thing. Illegal state but I'm not trying to become the next Escobar of the neighborhood just trying to grow meds for my daughter. If they want to come after me they have nothing else to do that day.

I have never feed them anything more than some root enhancer as I have transplanted them into new soil almost two weeks ago. So do for a feeding but this is happening to all my plants and I am careful not to get them wet or anything. I checked for bugs with a magnifying glass and nothing to be seen.Growth seems great.

That plant looks fine bro!

I had a leaf crinkled a bit on a plant and a great farmer (da) aka d angel, told me same thing I just told you. Don’t know what she looks like now, but that pic bro, she looks fine. I’ve read that tips pointing down, could be sign of too much N, but that pic shows that’s prolly not the case. They would be darker green color imho.

Also, UV had my 2 300w galaxy hydro leds up to 13” to my plants in soil (ffof) for a couple of weeks, not one drop of cal mag yet! ). Knock on wood. But each plant is different. Just my 2 cents. Hope it’s looking now, as good or better as it does in the pic you posted. Well wishes for everyone! It’s so easy when the weather co operates. Tent at 77 deg with 66% rh. Just tent lights table fan! Love this time of year. :thumb:

See the drooping tips, darker green leaves. I’ve read over & over about ffof high in N (too hot) soil. My first grow plants looked really green like this as well. Diff strains, diff seed co. Same brand soil. You’re good bro....no cal mag on these, it’s about 28 days soon. Just FYI again. You’re looking golden bro.

You need a scope. A magnifying glass wont see Russet mites. Your plants look great! I think your picking too hard. They look like they have enough N. I personally think the O.Forest is to strong for sprouts. Im trying to just use Happy Frog. Your going to have fucked up leafs here and there. Get a scope and get used to using it.

I'm starting to lean toward those mites mentioned. I am seeing funny bent wet looking spots like this today. Hard to see so I circled it. Might just be the plant sweating.Still also considering ph or nutes so I am doing a soil test I'll post in a bit.

I'd give it a bit longer

Spider mites cause this

Not at all. I have checked for visible bugs and don't see any. I think we can rule out PH. I think nutes or mites.

PH soil test: Left is soil, right is promix. I added regular un-PHed water and it came out the same PH it went in and I let it soak in the medium for an hour before testing.

I am seriously leaning toward calcium considering my PPM being 9-13 and I filter water. I read this on a growweedeasy.

"Calcium deficiencies are more likely to appear when...

Grower is using filtered or reverse osmisis (RO) water to feed plants - the amount of calcium found in tap water varies, but some tap water has enough calcium to prevent calcium deficiencies"

That's what I was after last night. With led you need some and with your water you need to get some in there to help with nute intake

After work I'm going to grab a 60x microscope from the grow shop and some cal mag. They are due for water in the afternoon when my lights kick on. I'll check for the mites in case and add some cal mag as I read it cannot really burn them but it can lock out other nutes.

Thanks man

It does doesn't it. I checked them with a magnifying glass and nothing. Could be russet mites so I'm going to buy a microscope right now from the grow shop.

but them leaf deformations are typical for russet mites ... its actually a cummulative poisonous effect from the bites .... and there is a safe hack to stop and reverse the poisoning .. if im not mistaken its aspirin ... i need to check on that
Should I grab neem oil while I'm there? It's really out of the way so I hate going there. I'll need it at some point likely.

Yes absolutely spray very heavy til they drip or you see hem wash away ?

Re apply every theee day or so

Dry to keep humidity low if in flower they like humid and thrive on temps over 80f
