As you can see the leaves at the bottom are dying and Idk what to do to save them. Not sure If I should even leave them on the plant at this point so I could really use some help guys ^_^

O I planned to water them here in a few hours when the lights turn back on... Also I was considering switching to the GLR to up there root growth Idk.

My suggestion would be to get them transplanted into bigger pots with new soil. Then get a good compost tea brewing to help jump start your microlife. Once your plant's are in new pots... depending on your soil type and amendments, you shouldn't have to water with nutrients for a good 2 weeks (the soil should provide whats needed). After a good week or 2 of veg in the new pots start introducing the nutrients in smaller amounts and work your way up to full amounts..

You know I was having the same thought process myself. Do you think it's okay for me to transplant Vanilla Kush in her current state?
Also Think they will be okay for a few more days? I don't have enough soil to put them in there new pots yet and the place in town that carries the soil I want has it on order and said it should be here this week sometime hopefully.

99.9 percent certain you are dealing with a calcium deficiency.. Not sure why no one else is telling you that because the rusting and drying of the leaves screams calcium deficiency. Grab calcium pills from your local pharmacy/Walmart/grocery store. Grind 2 up and mix into a gallon jug. Water them girls and watch the transformation! Good luck to you

Question, not to dispute 420farmer's rather rude statement, last "asinine" comment. Are there holes in the bottom of your cups? as for the absence of drooping, please look at top leaves in the picture from my previous post

I do agree with the Ca deficiency suggestion, though it could also be a boron or copper problem as well... here is a problem solver I use. Try reading through it to verify, @420's Cannabis Plant and Pest Problem Solver - Pictorial

I would also get those plants into some bigger vessels. This alone, with fresh soil could turn your problems around. Only a compost tea, as suggested by Icemud, to "water them in" to their new home.

One other question. Are you using well water, or does your house have a water softener? I see something that looks a bit odd in the deposits in the tray.

And the fact that ppl are telling you that it's and overwatering issue is a bit asinine. The very first sign of overwatering OR under watering is drooping leaves. In either case with both plants, I'm not seeing those signs.

High 420farmer,

The reason I made the observation of over watering is that the soil looks to wet, like it has not dried out for a while, I know this because i have made that error myself. Also when the leaves die off like that, it is most likely due to a deficiency, which to moist of a soil will do as well.

Ok well to each his own! But I'd still recommend some ca. Also, if you don't want watering issues, grow in coco coir :0

HAHA! Good suggestion! :thumb: Coco is fine for those that know how to do it. For the first time grower, soil is the absolute most forgiving most times, provided it drains well. I hear you on the Ca, though... it does seem to be lacking in that area. But as we know, too much water also causes this type of deficiency sign, so we were ruling the easiest to fix out before moving on to something a little more complicated.

Re: Anonymous Blue Planet Nutrients Organic Soil - Chemdog-Lucy-Vanilla Kush - Smart

Alright so I'm going to be switching them to a little bit bigger pots today. As far as the sediment in my runoff. I'm pretty sure thats just the soil running out the holes in the bottom. I also did a small dose of nutrients once a while ago so that could also be what you are seeing. Hopefully the transplant saves them. We should see here in a couple days.

Did you add any calcium?

The soil I am using has calcium in it I'm sure... The problem probably was that they had been in the soil they were in for a while and absorbed all the nutrients. The new soil should help then I will start feeding them nutrients to make sure they do not have any future deficiencies ^_^

What's the new soil? I'm sure after a few weeks you would have to add some nutrients.
