Amy Gardner's First Journal - Outdoor - Critical Cure & Chaos In The Forest

You can take it off as you go, but collect it in the freezer so you can check after you harvest to see if you missed any and add it to the pile...then clean it all at once. Here's my original post:
Cleaning buds of botrytis.

Fabulous Shed! Thanks so much. Has a bonus pictorial on making the topical too... :thanks:
Congrats on the very fine harvest Amy! :high-five:

Nice update! I like the bookends pic too!
Thanks ween! I’m looking forward to the next one in a couple of weeks. This one should be in jars (and some in oil) by then :slide:

Congratulations on a well earned, hard work harvest.
:thanks: It was a lot of plant ... :yahoo:

I think the next ones will be easier to manage. NOt that this one was hard - just lots of it. ANd I wasn’t too fussed about trimming because it’s mostly going to be oil. I’m treating it as a bit of a test case. WIll practice dry trimming on some of it when its ready :yummy:

Hope you’re well Rad!

:circle-of-love:

That pic of the cola backlight by the blue sky should be in the Pic of the Month contest. :)
Thanks BigBear :) I thought that too - but I’ve already entered one. Maybe i’ll pop it in next month... or take a new one. I feel like there’ll be one of those for each harvest if they all happen at that time of day :D

Will we ever get blogs back? So much information lost in the threads.....

Amy.... that was one impressive harvest report. :high-five:

Pineapple... could that be what I’m smelling in mine that I haven’t been able to place? Hmmm.... tomorrow I’ll get the sniffer in there and check. I don’t often come into contact with pineapple so it never came to mind.

The pictures of the branches hanging outdoors and in were my favorites, but that’s by a slim margin. They were all wonderful. How serendipitous to catch the colas in the evening sun.

Thank you for the obvious care you put into this. I couldn’t be more thrilled that you got 5+ ounces from her. WooHoo! Lots of meds.

A fine showing for the start of this phase of your growing lif

Thanks Sue! :cheer::high-five: You’re in my garden all the time you know, in the inspriation centre of my heart :battingeyelashes:

I’ve been smelling the pineapple for a couple of weeks. I’ve never been a fan of pineapple either until I went to Hawaii and had Pineapple there, on the day of its harvest, and oh my! It was wonderful. The CBDCC aroma has been that pineapple ... + diesel fuel!

That evening sunset light on the grow corner is such a beautiful thing. I try to time it regularly now so that I can sit there with my vape and watch the light travel across the plant. I can literally see it moving at that time of day.

Blogs will come back. Rob is under a mountain of fiddly problems related to the functioning of the gallery at the moment. Then I think the email notifications problem will get the next spot on top of the list of priorities. So the blogs are down the list I reckon. But for all we know, some programmer could be writing the code for them as we speak... one day, they will return...

:Namaste:

I'm fine Amy... been busy in real life... ups and down, starts and stops, but everyone is all right.

I was surprised when I went back to Hawaii 5-6 years ago. The Oahu pineapple plantations are gone, just a little bit in one spot for the tourists. Sugar cane is gone too - so the drive from Waikiki to North shore has a whole different feel.

The fruit drinks are still magnificent and the ocean is still there. We snorkelled with sea turtles and spinner dolphins and had a great time.

I enjoy my indoor cannabis garden - it soothes the soul.

I did my first outdoor gardening of the year this afternoon - Vacuumed and shredded the leaves hiding the crocus blooms and tulip stalks. No outdoor cannabis for me!

that must be the pineapple I had then, it was 3 & 4 years ago that I was there. The residents and locals we met talked about that. It is absolutely my favourite place to visit. Kind of a gritty paradise with worlds best waves (both during the big wave season and not - for a longboader, spring is the best time), and then lake like conditions in Summer. Plus, the best cannabis i've had was found there on that little strip you mention between Waimea and Sunset Beach. :slide: Nice to see you here, I'm so glad you're able to do outside things again... stay frosty amongst those g'v'ment types now, won'tcha ;)
