The Candida CD-1 I grow (Medical Marijuana Genetics) has up to 20% CBD. It’s sensational mediciine. It’s ’marijuana’ not hemp. ACDC x Harlequin and very stable with a nutmeg, nutty, spicy terpene profile and 2 phenos; an indica leaner and a sativa leaner. The sativa leaner has the higher CBD . The indica is around 16% I think. THC is slightly higher than what classifies as hemp but never higher than 1%.
The CBD #1 from Ace is 13-17% and also very stable. It’s the result of crossing a “Cannatonic S1 of very high CBD content with the Afghan ErdPurt, also rich in CBD”. I have some supposed to be on their way to me but the shipment is either massively delayed or seized. Sent in march. Actually, I sent queries to
@SeedsMan a couple of weeks ago and haven’t heard anything. Guess they’re swamped with the world deciding to grow weed in lockdown.
Anyway, I digress. I’m actually much more interested in CBD from full ‘marijuana’ than from hemp. My own experience mirrors the research that suggests it is a more complete medicine - dont know how else to describe it. It‘s just massively better that the elixinol hemp CBD oil i used to take, and that is one of the better ones.
But Charlotte’s Webb just interests me specifically because of it’s success and the claims of a more complex and potent terpene profile than most hemp. And because of the CBG content.
But 40% CBD would be pretty good returns for edibles! And the CBG content in hemp definitely has me interested now!
