Update Blue Dream #1 Day 127+52(43)
The force is strong with this one...
I pulled another 50+ nanners off yesterday after and while taking all these photos. It’s already bulked up some since th pics the other day and I’m taking it soon, Friday or Saturday, maybe sooner. She is totally gunning to make lady pollen and seeds now so there’s nothing i want there.
High Brix growers all say that the trichomes dont really amber up, so that’s not my marker. I see plenty of cloudy, and here n there a slight amberish yellow - especially through the loupe - which may even constitute the DBHBB equivalent of ambering up . Mostly though there is only 1 or 2 new pitstils and most of the others are receded. I’m getting excited about having it to consume in a few weeks - tester nugs dont count really but there’ll be one of those too very soon...
I’m stoked to be getting a nice haul of Blue Dream for Christmas, just what I wanted.
The slight tip burn on sugar leaves is likely to do with the same thing that’s the likely cause of the clawing, too heavy on the worm castings. Must be super heavy because my outdoor grow last year had too much humus and compost in the mix (I know this cause it still does, and that’s after 3 plants grew out in it), and I had no clawing there at all. I’m supposing the worm castings being dry when I got them meant I used waaaaay too much and that combined with the BD maybe being a light feeder in the N department is making it so pronounced... we’ll know more as I grow more in this batch - which has been adjusted a little.
TBH I’m exhausted from this grow - currently the gnats are really getting my spirits down. There is still gnat damage showing up on the Blue Dream (although i haven’t caught any more on the traps). ANd the little buggers are in the outdoor garden, slowing down and stressing out many things, including my seedlings (I’ll update on those soon, just low in energy). I have gnat nix as well now so coming at them from all sides. I’ve ordered more Bti (from Gnatrol this time) and will just have to keep at it to keep them down. Next consideration will be maybe some beneficial nematodes...
Still, very happy overall that I’m growing and even with the gnats wearing me down... I have some lovely ganja to enjoy. PLUS... my new CBD CC dosing oil is great and I think getting more CBD in is doing good things too.
Thanks for visiting! See y’all in space...
